I just well I needed somewhere to put what I'm writing

I wouldn't call myself a great writer I essentially write for myself or when I am in need of a monologue that I would be comfortable performing I'm not very good at writing humor and most of what I write is very dark. I am an actor and singer primarily but I do enjoy writing on the side I look at it like this no man will ever achieve immortality for more than a fleeting moment but if when I die if my writing could become as immortal as Iliad or the Odyssey that is truly all I can ask

The thing I love most about this website, aside from the fact that everyone is super friendly, is that no one expects you to be great, or even good. It's kind of freeing. And it's a good place to put whatever you're writing because you get loads of helpful comments on what you could work on.

It's very much okay that most of your work is dark and not comical; that was my biggest worry when I came onto this site. As long as you rate your stories appropriately (you'll see what I'm talking about when you submit work) you'll be fine. Just remember all of your key plot points and details so everything makes sense, because some of the best horror/dark works that I've seen have very strong plots/details.
