I'm new here and I'm currently writing a novel which I believe I will call "Shade". People ask me what it's about, but I really suck at making summaries, so I just end up telling them that I like to call it a gay romance/mystical creature fantasy. ^-^

Perhaps I will! So far I've written 120 pages, but in the end I hope it gets to be around 400.

Ah, let's see... Favorite authors... Well, I really, really admire J.K. Rowling and her works. Harry Potter was probably a big part of making me want to write in the first place. Among other authors, Cassandra Clare, who wrote The Mortal Instruments series, is also one of my favorites.

As for my pets, I currently have two golden retrievers named Dixie and Ranger; three cats by the names of Milo, Eliza, and Cooper; and finally three American guinea pigs named Ember and Ivy. The sweet hamster in my avatar was named Midnight. She passed away several years ago.

One thing about me - and I hope I'm not violating any rules by saying so - is that I am bisexual. I've known this since I was eleven. Thankfully I've never really ran into any people that are too terribly rude about it.

I play roller derby for the Emerald City Junior Gems and my username, Moonlight Assassin, is actually my derby name. I am on the Grease Monkey team. =]
