My name is Keren and it is nice to meet you all. -little bow-

I am a junior in Ephrata High School in Pennsylvania. I am currently pursuing art as a future career but writing has always been a passion of mine. I have recently finished my NaNoWriMo novel and I am currently thinking of and writing three more books. I am very excited.

I also have a huge belief in faeries. It may seem weird, yes, but it makes more sense to me than believing in a god. It's just the way things roll. It is probably why I am writing my next 2 novels about faeries and maybe the third, I am nor sure yet.

Anyway, tell me about yourselves.

Now you have been officially welcomed. Congrats on actually completing Nano! Does this mean you like fantasy? Are there different kinds of faeries? I know there's two courts in some legends, but do all faeries belong to those two courts? Will one of your books be an encyclopedia about faeries? I could use one.

Fantasy is my favorite genre

From what I have read, faeries are categorized as all those whose live in a court. They are not your typical Disney faeries. They come in all kinds such as selkies, nixies, pixies, ogres, trolls, etc. There can be any amount of courts because a court is just a group of faeries under a king or queen that take over an area. I am sure that there is more than just 2. And there are also faeries that do not belong to courts.

Sadly though, I do not know enough about the fae to write an encyclopedia. I am sure there are ones out there though. You just got to find the good ones.

Ok! What kind of music do you listen to?

I listen to pretty much everything except for pop, rap, country, and hip hop. I am not a huge fan of those. I am a huge fan of j-pop though since it is the only type of pop I can stand. It comes from all the years of anime I think.

Some of my favorite bands include Flogging Molly, My Chemical Romance, Snow Patrol (just started listening to them), Evanescence and Linkin Park. I also like Celtic Thunder and Celtic Women. They are a huge inspiration for my writing.

I'm still gonna say high to you even though you dissed country music *hurmphs*. Then again your awesome fae username is making me forgive you. So WELCOME!!!!! *Throws pencil shaped confetti!* my name is Crafty. (that's just what I go by here) I read anything, write anything, and make anything out of duct tape. (Exept Faeries *Shakes head sadly*) Anyway, it's awesome you know so much about Farie's (That's my perferred way to spell them.) There's hidden fae lovers everywhere here and I'm sure you'll love it! Anyhow, You are going to write a fae tale aren't you? Celtic stuff is really interesting! Can't wait to see what you come out with!

I may be in a little over my head with my story. It escalated from being two books long to four in just a day. I'll take on the challenge. Though I cannot say much for my sanity afterwards ^^; Thanks for the support!

Hello FaeQueen!

Pennsylvania, huh? Neat! I'm from Alabama. It's nice and warm down here. Which is good since I can't stand being cold. I love faeries! Have you ever read Wondrous Strange or The Book of Dreams? They are both really good fantasy books about the faerie realms. Although, The Book of Dreams is more of what I would call high fantasy while Wondrous Strange is more of a type of chick lit. They're both really good though! What are some of your favorite books?

Well, I'm not in Pennsylvania by will. It was more of something forced upon me. I happen to love the cold. I right now would rather be in New York, where I used to live. I absolutely love the snow

I actually haven't read them. Do you happen to know the names of the authors?
I read a lot of teen fiction and some of the faerie books I have read recently are Wicked Lovely by Melissa Marr and The Iron King by Julie Kagawa. My absolute favorite series is The Mortal Instruments series by Cassandra Clare. I hope that I can get the newer book for Christmas. I am waiting patiently :>

Ah, yes, I know all about forced movings. There was this one time I had to move to Mississippi against my will...but I won't go into detail. I absolutely love The Mortal Instruments series! Clockwork Angel is good, but I don't think it's as good as the "City of..." books. Although, you might think differently when you read it. Let's see. Wondrous Strange is by Lesley Livingston and The Book of Dreams is by O. R. Melling it's a part of The Chronicles of Faerie series of books. I didn't read any of the books in the series previous to that one--which is the last, I think--but they're all made to stand alone I believe. I haven't read Wicked Lovely yet, but everytime I go to the bookstore I always seem to pick it up and then put it back again. I might actually have to buy it next time.
