hey im new, and i dont k now how this stuff initially works, lol. didnt know there could be noobs outside of video games, but i guess im a noob here. um, i have a lot of talent to bring to the table, i write poetry and short stories, and i am currently in the middle of writing two books, at first i thought it would be hard, but because im adhd it actually made it easier, because when i get bored with one i can always go to the next... so yeah. hi

Hey, i am new too. I feel like a noob when i play modern warfare against real people. xD they always shoot me in the back of the head. Lol anyway i am just reading a bunch stuff of the site.

That's pretty cool about the adhd thing. I wish I could tackle two books. I tried it once, didn't work out too well.

Anyways, a few things about the site! Yay fun! So the members whose names are in green are mods (Light green are JMs - junior moderators - like me). They basically keep the site in check and help out members whenever they can. So if you have any questions, feel free to PM one of us. Also, check out the Information Desk in community. It has a bunch of info on what's new and how to use things, if you do a bit of digging.

But, when I was a new member, I found the best way to get acquainted with the site was to just go on it! I spent a lot of time just browsing and getting to know my way around. It'll take a few weeks, but you should have the hang of this place in no time.

So, what kind of works do you write? I'm going to look out for your things!

I'm Hope and I've been here about a year and a half and I'm still a noob! xD

That's really really cool how you can do poetry and short stories AND novels. I fail at poetry and stick mostly to short stories xD Like Classy said the easiest way to get to know your way around YWS is just to wander around, although the biggest problem I had was I would find something really cool and forget how to get back. So don't be afraid to ask people, mkay? People here are super super friendly.

By the way have a pink dancing elephant What more could you ask for?

So you’re writing two books, are you? What are they about? Genre and setting and all that?

I could sit here and tell you about every awesome thing you can do on the site like Sudoku under YWS and Fun (on the top menu) and there are plenty of stories to read. Oh, and don’t forget to check out the Clubs page. ^^
And the notifications thing up on top is really helpful for keeping track of your bish nish.
