Hello there :D

Here are 2 projects I have done so far in school that deal with my topic of "Technology and Us". The first one has the title "Tech-Puppet" and the second "The Motherboard".
Enjoy and feel free to comment for all is appreciated :).
I only put URLs as the images won't fit on the page and half of them ended up being cut when i pressed preview.

Notice how the man is an actual couch potato (surrealism) is being controlled by the mechanical robot arm. His education, health, and balance in life are being distorted.

The basic concept behind this is to see your reflection in it, for i drew it on a mirror and used vitrail glass paint. The message behind it is that technology is all around you; it just takes a mirror to realize that ;).

First off, preview will cut the photos, but when you actually submit it, it'll end up alright.
Secondly, if it's that big it should be resized.
Thirdly, scanner? ;)
Fourthly, you did great! Despite it being dark, grainy and unfocused, the couch potato meaning got through. I didn't read your explanations until after I looked at the pictures. But it didn't matter, I almost got the entire meaning and all the elements without the explanation.
The techno one was harder to understand, but after reading what you wrote, I thought that maybe I could see two eyes, a nose and a crooked mouth, but I still wasn't sure. You certainly got the circuit board look into it, though. It was hard to see angled like that, but that's understood. You did it to avoid the reflection of the camera in the mirror.
You did a great job, keep working!

A scanner for a 80 by 50 cm canvas ? It wouldn't work ;) niether for a 40 by 50cm mirror :) and thank you for the advise.

Yeah, I figured the mirror wouldn't work with a scanner, but I didn't know the other one was so big! I have one sketch that is too large for my scanner, so I can understand you. Maybe if you take it to a printer shop you could find one of those massive scanners...or not.

Hey :)

The first one, I loved the concept but the lines of the perspective are a bit off, it's not really tri-dimensional. But since it's surrealism, I'll cut you a bit loose :)

The second one, I really love! Love how it's on a mirror and it looks really cool with all the electronics part and all.

I loved the idea behind both of the works!
Keep up the good work!

fun fact i hear my evil twin once wrote a story about a hacker who used the name fyshi33k bc there are 33k-ish species of fish and she liked phishing so fyshi-33k made sense but then she got super embarrassed when someone forced her to explain
