Hello

Hi everybody! Just wanted to introduce myself as a newbie to the site. I'm here because I've finally realized that keeping my writing hidden in a dusty corner of my hard drive isn't doing anyone any good. Most of my stuff is semi-autobiographical essays, and also tries, for the most part, to be funny. I realize that this genre is in extreme danger of just falling flat and coming off as whiny. Feel free to criticize harshly, I'm here for the feedback!

Well I started off the same way you did, and I'll be totally honest with myself...I sucked at first. But the good thing about this site is that everybody's here to help you, not to shoot you down, and as long as you remember that this is a GREAT site to get you started on storytelling. Getting other people's opinions helps so much for all your writing. Plus, this site, y'know, ROCKS. Just sayin'.
