Hi, people :)

Hi, you fellow YWSers. Although I just joined, I'm fairly well know my way around and all the rules ^_^

A little about me:
I love writing, though I'm not the greatest at it. I mostly write essays, poems, and short stories.
Animals are just the greatest, and being outside is awesome. My main writing place, besides school, is up in a tree.
i love books, mostly fiction/adventure fiction and historical fiction. Not much else to say, except that I'm 13.

Welcome to YWS, ongoeslife! (Interesting name by the way. Reminds me of a movie where a guy is just casually walking along a road and gets shot, then when the ambulance and everything comes time skips forward to the next morning when some other unimportant guy is walking along and the words appear in bold on the screen: ongoeslife ...Yeah, don't mind my random trail of thought.)

You said you already know your way around the site? Are you sure, you know about the Points System and Submissions and Storybooks and Nominations and Featured Works and the Chat Room and...you're sure? You're sure you're sure? ...Okay then.

Anyway, what genre do you write? Fantasy? Romance? Sci-fi? About sandwiches? (Again, don't mind me. I can be random. )

If you do find that you need help, don't be afraid to ask me, any other members, or the site moderators (people with green names). You can just PM us or write on our walls.

You write in a tree? That's the coolest thing. I sometimes draw on my front porch, but I've never thought of writing in a tree. Maybe it's because I don't really like writing in notebooks, at least writing short stories (which is all I do). I find typing easier, but kudos to you!

Are you doing NaNoWriMo?

Have you ever heard of the muffinman? *Ongoeslife shakes head* He's a mean, terrible man that lives on YWS. He'll eat you whole if you don't have me around! I'm an apple with a whip and I know how to use it. *OnGoesLife stares admiringly at Apple* No need to thank me, I do try!

Don't ask greenies, they cannot keep back the muffinman with a fancy whip - not like I can anyway! Ask me and I will answer all thy questions young padiwan (I'm not even sure that is how you spell it). As everyone has already given you the low down mow down but forget to warn you about the muffinman, there is not much else to say.

I have one thing to tell you before I depart to scare more people, even myself! Never go out alone. If you do, always brandish a whip and wear high heeled boots even if they cramp your style. Just hammer your feet on the floor like a tap dancer (don't forget the hand movements, they're very important) and start waving the whip around. He'll run so far you won't ever see the Muffinman again!

Pretty sure I do! Submissions; I already made one, didn't I? Nominations, you go to the forum and vote on people to get a certain badge. *Or nominate them to get it!* Featured Works; A piece with the most 'likes' gets into the Featured Works section. Chat room, I'm on my third visit already

I'm not sure exactly what I write. *Apparently nothing. I misspelled 'write' three times in a row! * You're not the only random one. There's a squirrel outside, by the way. And yesterday i saw a chicken cross the road. It was interesting to watch ^_^

It's great ^_^ I usually lie down, and just start writing. Other times, I'll go to this area that has a circle of branches around, so it forms a natural platform. It's quiet, cool, *both kinds!* and you can see birds, squirrels....

I think I'll wait until JulNo. I have too much going on right now; school, work in my church... I'm not even sure if I can write more than 10 short chapters!

I'll do that ^_^

Hello little one (jokes I'm only 15!), welcome to YWS. (Adult voice over). I LOVE this site and I'm sure you will too! I'm watchmeburn, ha ha, if that’s too long just call me, er, watch, or burn, or something along those lines...

ANYWAY (Ellen reference LOL) enough about me!! We want to know about YOU. Tell us about your self, what do you like to write, or are you more of an art person, or are you REALLY weird, causing you to be good at poetry (I'm not weird that’s why I can't write poetry). And if you can't think of anything about your self...... then tell us your fav colour!! (I went there Apple)!! Apple is kind of crazy if you hadn't already noticed. I’ve been talking to her too much .
