I've hard this sort of art called by various names, but pixel art was what appealed to me the most, so I used that title.
All of this was done in plain old MSpaint, unchangd since 1994 :D .
Apologies for what looks like mold on some of them, I had to save them as JPEGs to upload them, and that took a lot out of the crystal-clear quality of BMPs. :(

Hmm, I like this! Wait, no, I *like* this. ;)

Okay, on with the review. This definitely isn't my favorite thing that you've drawn, but I really do appreciate it. My one nitpick is the reddish arrow above the biscuit/cookie/wafer thingy in the first picture. It took me a few minutes of scrutiny before figuring out that you were trying to show that a pice of the cookie was literally popped out of the top to form that little design. I might consider portraying this in a different way, because I'm sure that if I'm confused by it, there has to be at least someone else out there who is confused, too.

Well, keep ... um ... pixel-art-ing!

Cool. Personally, I think the last one looks like the Hyrule Castle in the Legend of Zelda series (come to think of it, all the drawings look similar to the animation of the first few games in the series).

@Abi, yeah, it's confusing if you can't see it very well, too bad I can't upload BMP images. ><
@Yuri, Thanks!
@TIGER, I've heard of Zelda, but never really understood it beyond that it was a video game (or is). It actually looks like some old Mario games I used to play, SNES. The isometric style echoes many old Japanese games, excepts few were diagonally isometric, mainly straight-on views. Am I confusing you?
@Mixedup, that was my evil intention, mwahahaha.

xD that's so mean! I'm joking, okay now that I have a proper head on my shoulders I can actally make a worth while comment.

The title is what brought me in, the picture is what made me stay. Hello I'm Emaly and I'll be your reviewer for today. I like this a lot, and we are working on perspective in art class, so this actually may help me! As for your mold issue, I don't see how it looks like mold O.o.

I love this! I'm a fan of pixel art in general, but these ones made me smile.

The little village is cute. It reminds of something you would see on an old computer game, or a basic online rpg. I especially like the shading and detail on it.

The first is good too. It looks like you've used an advanced program to show how it slots together, even though it's done in paint, which is a really nice effect.

I'm not sure about the cakes though. I think the dribbling icing is a bit too much. The beauty of Pixel Art is that it's very simple, but here it looks like you've overdone the icing just to add some kind of 3d effect. Also, don't forget, it should rise a little higher than the actual cake.

Overall, nice work :) I hope to see more of it.

Hi Jenthura!
Wow, I find pixel art to be a pain in the whoo-hoo.
I tried once, and failed miserably, so bad that I never want to try again, haha.
But, you've done a pretty good job here. I love the cake one the best, it's nice. Although it looks like it's bubbling...
The castle itself is pretty magnificent. I like how you even added the little houses. The detail you managed to put in here is pretty good too. The depth and perspective is awesome, too. Good job!
Yes, I *liked* it :D

*Like* it! Pixel art is practically an art in itself, so I admire you for however you did this. Kinda reminds me of the old game boy video games. Just the kind of graphics they are, is what I mean.
Well, good work!

Hey there, Jenthura!

Wow....xD Those are really awesome. Especially if you used Paint to make them; there are very few things I can draw in MS Paint Program, hahah. I can only imagine how much work and how difficult it was to create that castle!

Yeah, you got me, I *like* it.
