Hello there :)

Well, this is pretty good. First of all, I like how you manipulated your words. It made the whole poem intelligent. I just loved your pesonification in the last stanza. There was great use of imagery and a general great flow of words.

I listen for the sounds of flora freezing over,
but they are distant. My body becomes placid.
I savor the scent of a bloom departing slowly
like a relative who hugs, cries, and leaves.

This was my favourite stanza. I've no bad comments for this one. So, keep up the good work ;)
The best is what you make it!

Hey there!

I thought this poem was quite nice. I like the imagery in here.

Nitpicks:

ryanke07 wrote:Shouldering the ivy which is keeping it warm.

You can just put 'Shouldering the ivy which keeps it warm.' It also helps the poem flow better =).

ryanke07 wrote:The warmness of summer soirees fades.

Warmth, not warmness.

ryanke07 wrote:I listen for the sounds of flora freezing over,

'Placid' isn't really a suitable word to describe a body. Maybe replace it with another adjective?

ryanke07 wrote:A bee milks a flower
and flies her heavy body home, satisfied.

A lovely way to end the poem.

Overall, good job. Keep writing! :D
Hope for the best, but prepare for the worst.
