This was written several months ago, when I was still super new to poetry and whatnot. :)

Thanks for reading!

You aren’t worthy of
My tears
Or my pain,
Or even the fire I set for you last night
And your burning clothes
And all the pictures of the two of us:
Memories that should be gone.

You aren’t worth the time it took
To write this little rant.
You were never worth my time
Or my love,
Or even the simplest glance from my vulnerable eyes
That you took advantage of so easily,
Without a backward glance of your own.

You don’t matter enough for me to care.
You don’t concern me enough-
Or anyone else
And I know it.
But it makes me wonder why
When it's so clear,
Why I still care.
Why I still cry, and hurt, and build bonfires in the park.
Why I burn myself inside and out
And as much of you as I possibly can.

I like it! Great story with a nice conclusion!
I wonder how you're poems are right now if this was just a poem you wrote for the first time.
In the beginning I didn't understand what I could expect because of the titel. However I like what I've read :).

The feeling is here in this poem, as well as the passion. What is lacking is the composition. You need to filter through your passion through a greater complexity of interesting images, descriptions, and other poetic techniques to do something interesting with what you want to write about. It's like a painter throwing acrylic at a canvas- a mess. But, with a brush he can balance his paints to create something visually interesting.

At the moment, I feel the poem is more of a rant. But there is something there, it just needs to be nurtured.

I think you need to read a lot more poetry, as well as keep writing. You have the knack, its time to fine tune it.

Okay well, I think what you've got here is pretty cool. In the the first two stanza's the poem's about how much the speaker wants to forget his/her lover. I'm just gonna call the speaker a she for brevity's sake. Burning the clothes, burning the pictures, it's all about the memories. The speaker wants to forget all of the things that reminds them of the person she's ranting about. And finally in the end the last stanza the poem takes a sudden turn, while the speaker has claimed not to care she begins to realize the very act of not caring and of burning means she hasn't let go. It means that her need to forget has begun to consume her.

Great poem. I like it. The emotions seem real and I can catch the imagery. I suggest toying with the punctuation marks to add emphasis in different areas and maybe add some dynamics to the poem. But other than that It's nice! :)

That was a heartfelt poem. What inspired you to write that? I liked it a lot. It was interesting. My favorite part was the ending. :) Keep writing.
