I am joshik, am feeling good being on this site knowing how great you fellows out ther are.
I want to learn, that is why i subscribed and i want to share my little experience with others.

If you want to learn about writing, you've come to the "write" place. (HAHAHAH..) YWS is a great site for perfecting your craft, as I always say. I hope that you have a good time here.

Just because I'm curious, is there any particular genre in which you like to write? I like fantasy quite a bit but I'm concentrating on other things right now.

Hi, like Sylvester said this is the right place to be. But, at first it can be a little confusing. We are all very helpful and sometimes it is over whelming. But, as you explore you will find there is a place in this site for anyone that has ever written or read. Everything under Community is great for getting to know the other users. The chat room (under YWS) is also great for that. If you want to write a story with someone else storybooks are great. If you need a review just ask in Will Review For Food.

YWS is a very cool site with a lot of very cool features. There's contests, pages, groups, tutorials, blogs, discussions, various writing forums, writing and reviewing, and so, so much more. To a new user, it can be a bit confusing (I didn't even know about the Welcome Mat or have any clue how to get to it when I started).
