Hello there :)

Your drawings are pretty good I should say. I'm not a huge expert in drawing nor do I know what Maga is. So I'll just give a spectators point of view. Since these are cartoon figures, it's really hard to name the flaws, for me. I think what you can work on is the colouring or shading but other than that it's coming up alright...that's it.

Good job
The best is what you make it!

Hello there Sionarmara! iceprincess here! :D

I'm usually not a very big fan of manga --- I like anime more --- but this is pretty good for someone who is terrible at drawing (or so you claim ;D).

Now for your drawing style! I like the eyes of the young boy's instead of the girl's as it's more manga-ish and not that cartooney (is that even a word?). Well, I actually like the boy more than the girl because the drawing style looks more refined and mature.

But anyways, keep up the good work! If you need anything, you can just PM me or write on my wall/profile. :D

and don't it feel alright, and don't it feel so nice? lovely.

Hi Siona! Here as requested.

That's definitely a very good attempt at Manga. My initial Manga art pieces were awful. Anyway, a few pointers for you:

Hair: You've got the basic outline. Try working on your strokes to add that shine on the hair that is generally sen.
Eyes: Very good job. You should basically work on symmetry between the eyes and varying the shading strokes. Otherwise good. Just concentrate on symmetry, dear.
Face proportions: This is one place you need to work on. It takes time, don't worry. Start off slowly, by just drawing the head shapes and move on to gradually adding the hair, eyes, mouth. Also, the girl's mouth isn't really in place. You should nudge it up a bit.
The one site I use as a guide is : http://www.mangatutorials.com/
You should check it out. It will help you loads.

Keep drawing! (And you can always request a review in the WRFF.)

Ok. Flower here and I will be your reviewer for the evening. Now being a Manga/anime drawer (is that a word?) I think I will be a fair critic.

To be so new to drawing this style you are pretty good. I am not saying you are the next Kishimoto or anything, but they arn't aweful. I am going to try and give you tips on how to improve your drawings by using this one.

Hair: My dear there is nothing there. I would one: suggest that you look at some manga hair and somewhat copy, two, put some volume into it. All manga and anime have crazy hair! Yours just kind of sticks to their heads. Oh and shade shade shade! You will get nowhere in the manga world without shading!

Mouth: Usually manga have very small mouths, or very large mouths. You have come somewhere in between. Also you have the mouth very low, your mouth doesn't touch you jaw now does it? Once again, shade.

Eyes: They are a bit mishapen. I know how hard it is to make them work, but you will learn the talent eventually. On the girl on eye is also darker than the other one. On the boy the dots in his eyes don't need to be so oval. They need to be very round or it gives a drunken effect.

I would suggest, looking at, and drawing other peoples manga. It gets easier to draw your own after you master other people's more famous works.

If you need anything feel free to pm me.

Flower
My reality comes to a close as I once again realize that you don't love me, and even if I love you with my everything you will never care.

Wow! I'm a fan of manga/anime too, and i have to say these are amazing! Literally, i love their hair, and the face shape is great too. But you've kind of drawn the girls mouth a bit too far dawn, they normally have a gap between the bottom lip and chin, and the girls face on the right is a bit wider. Plus, the neck, i think, is a bit too long.
The boy I'd say is my favourite, he's just so cute and chubby!
Well done, also, good job on the eyes, hey're are the most important part of manga/anime drawings.

WOAH.
When you told me you had started drawing manga, I hadn't realized how good you'd be! These are really amazing, especially for a beginner!
My one nugget of constructive criticism (for lack of a better way to phrase it) for you is that when you're drawing the hair that's on the actual head (as opposed the pigtails themselves), try to make it poof out a little bit. You're drawing it as if it's part of the head itself. And since I'm terrible at explaining this, I'll give you a link to a helpful picture (you'll have to scroll down to see it--it's the very first one):
http://www.easy-drawings-and-sketches.c ... -hair.html

Notice how the hair is a completely seperate layer from the head? It never stays down exactly flat. Also, the necks you draw are just a tad long, so you might want to draw them a bit shorter next time.
But other than that, keep up the great work, and post more of your drawings soon! :)

That is really good for a beginner. I found my pictures from when I was a beginner the other day and they weren't near that good, although I guess I was younger... Anyway, keep practicing and keep up the good work; you're really good!
