What's up?
I'm Pulchritudinous, which according to dictionary.com means "a beautiful outer appearance".
I don't have one of these, but I like the name anyway.

Of course Pulchritudinous is a bit of a mouthful, so feel free to call me Dino instead. (Why Dino? Because it's the only amount of letters in the word that makes a suitable nickname, silly.)
Anyway, I'm in love with writing. Seriously, if it were legal, I'd marry it. (I guess if I make writing my profession, I could always become 'married to my work'. huh.)

I'm currently a freshman in college, pursuing an English major with a Creative Writing concentration. I'm currently stuck in one of my devastatingly normal dry spells. The urge to write something is there, but there's no magic spark to keep me going. I've joined YWS in hopes of reigniting that spark.

I think that's a good enough introduction. Anyone up for some tea? No? That's fine. I don't drink it anyway.
Cheers!

Hiya Dino! :] Welcome to YWS!

In love with writing, eh? I think you'll find yourself in like company here. So, when you're not experiencing a dry spell, what do you write? Who's your favorite author? Are you partial to coffee rather than tea? (Since you're not a tea drinker.)

I think you will regain the spark here; this place is so filled with creativity, it's rather infectious. :] But not in that nasty, flu kind of way. More like, the beginnings of a slow clap and how other people begin to do so, and then it's full blown applause...if that makes any sense. I digress.

Hope to see you 'round YWS! :]

Welcome to YWS, Dino!

You'll love it here, because a lot of people of Yws are in love with writing also. You're a freshman in college? That's really cool, I can hardly wait until my college days. Only a few more years. I really hope you do regain your spark. Not a tea drinker, eh? Me neither, I much prefer coffee and cherries. I know you can't drink cherries, but I prefer to eat cherries while drinking coffee. Well, I hope you really like it here. If you have any questions about the site I'd be glad to help, but it would probably be best to ask the mods and junior mods, the people who's name is written in green.

Ta-ta!

I just have to say, that's an awesome username (the full one). But I'll call you Dino because I can say that out loud :wink: .

Wow, that's so cool that you're majoring in Creative Writing. I don't even know what I want to do in college. I applaud you heartily, my friend. Anyway, this place will cure you of any dry spells. That, and some hot chocolate (which is better than tea). Fear not, your suffering is over, you are with the coolest writers on Earth now.

Welcome to YWS!

English with a Creative Writing concentration? Fabulous. :) Welcome to YWS, Dino! I am WD, and it is lovely to meet you! I happen to be majoring in English Lit and Creative Writing as well. I happen to love tea, but I also happen to love writing like yourself, so all is well. ;) How are you liking it here on YWS so far? What sorts of things do you like to write? Any current projects? I can't wait to see you and your work around on the forums and I sincerely hope that YWS will help reignite that spark. :) If you have any questions or just want to talk, do feel free to PM me! I hope you have a wonderful day!

Hi Spork! (:

When I'm not currently in a rut I write stories. Most are of the magical kind, but a few have been based on true events. I've tried my hand a poetry (my most recent one submitted on here, actually), but unfortunately I'm not too good at it. :/
Do I have to pick just one author? Ha ha. Well, I guess my flavor of the hour has to be John Green (Nerdfighter FTW!) but I'm very, very excited to Suzanne Collins' release of Mockingjay on Tuesday, so... we'll see. (; I am indeed a coffee drinker. I would cheat on writing with coffee.

Hello! I ate some of you yesterday. (:

Frankly I'm terrified. I move into my dorm in three days. Ah!

ReisePiecey wrote:Not a tea drinker, eh? Me neither, I much prefer coffee and cherries.

Can we be best friends? (:

Well thank you! It's appreciated. (:

Why thank you, Enigma. And may I say that you yourself are quite awesome (;

I really don't deserve your praise. My workload is a suicide attempt. I'm taking Psych, Philosophy, Chinese, and Math all in the same semester. What possessed me to do so? Who knows. I won't even touch creative writing until second sophomore semester, at earliest. :/

My kin! :D Where do you study, if I may ask?
I've actually been on YWS once before, but that was so very long ago that I forgot the username and password. :/ It's okay, though; I like this name better. (;

I currently have one major project I'm working on, which I plan to turn into a trilogy. If you go on my profile, there's a link to a tumblr page dedicated to it. (My personal tumblr is also called Pulchritudinous.)
I'll end up putting either excerpts or whole chapters of it on here eventually, but it won't be for a long while. As I stated before, college is going to be the death of me. :/

Thank you all for your wonderfully warm and fuzzy welcomes! I look forward to sharing and working with you.
Cheers!
