Hi people, new kid here ;)

Hiya, my names Bex and at the moment I'm 15 years old.
I love writing and have been trying to find a decent writers website for ages, so when I found this one I was overjoyed.
I mainly write fantasy stories but I writen a few horror and young childrens stories for school.
I've already started reading lots of peoples awesome work and compared to my writing skills, there amazing!!

You're bound to make some amazing friends on this wonderful website, it's probably the website I go on most. My writing has improved immensely since I've joined this site. If you post your work up you can get very good reviews. Speaking of, Private message (PM) me if you would like a review. You can also ask me about anything else, like how to navigate around the site. You might want to take a look at the sitemap.

I like to write fantasy stories too, but to some extent. I read a lot of horror stories, I think it's quite cool making up stories for younger readers. I was just wondering, do you write poetry too? Some authors just write stories.

Welcome to the site!
YWS is really helpful in a lot of ways.. it can dramatically help with my writing. I know mine has improved by tons. If you want another portfolio site though, I go on writerscafe.org too... it's more of a portfolio site, so when I have new things to post, but have already maxed out my two days, it's really nice. But YWS is for a larger variety of things I think. It's nice having peers look at your work as well.
