Staff Picks: Comedy Gold

Right, so I'm making my first post in the Lounge since...Larry King was a young boy, probably. And incase you were wondering, the pyramids were still being built then.

And no there isn't a particular reason for the post. Just thought I should point out that a) Jack's Staff Pick is a must-see. MUST-SEE. SEE IT NAOWZ.

Also, check this out. Okay so this particular video I'm linking to was shown in class the other day. It is absolute comedy gold. We couldn't figure out whether it was the most brilliant comedic sketch ever made...or just very, very wrong.

Sadly, it seems to be the latter. However, it is nonetheless hilarious.

Used to be a writer had to learn to WRITE before they could get published. Now, all you need is a couple thousand dollars and you got yourself a book. Talent? Who needs it? Skill? What for? Learning to write? Are you kidding me? Forget about it, I've got this here manyooscript and an address I can get it printed, I'mma be one of dem novelists. Riches, here I comes!!!

Also, I changed the title of this thread - I thought it would be a good place for people to talk about our Staff Picks! What you did and didn't like, etc. I think it's a touch-neglected, as an area of our site and we should talk about them a bit more.

Consequently, Suzanne's link is both awesome and horrendous and amusing. I actually think the comments at the bottom are the highlight - gotta love them geeks

Ron James on computers. If you do not know Ron James, I consider him the king of rants. At the very least Canadian king of rants, if you have somebody from another country you enjoy.

He really should have stopped by at YWS first. It's an interesting concept! But too many...irrelevant eyeballs, I think. XD
