Hey! I'm new and kind of lost =)

Hi! I'm Jess, a 14 year old author and poet. I'm writing a few books, I write fanfiction for Naruto haha, I finished writing a book with my two best friends not too long ago, I write my own songs, and I write poetry about my life and about other things that create the world as we know it! Aside from writing I sing, draw, listen to music, and play basketball. I hope I can make some good friends, you all seem so nice!

Hey Jess! Welcome to YWS! (ha! It rhymes!)
Well, you certainly have a better knowledge of grammar and spelling than some other 14-year olds I know, so that's a plus for you already! You'l find that YWS is a little more strict on those things, even when simply posting in forums, but I'm sure you can adjust.
I don't review poetry because I couldn't rhyme to save my life (that bit of rhyming at the beginning was purely accidental) but I'd be happy to review anything else you turn out.
I'm looking at that website right now...ah, I see you don't rhyme things very much, free-form, eh? Maybe I could write poetry if I tried it that way, but I'm a perfectionist, and going all free-form just isn't me *jealous sigh*

Basketball is fun, right? I'm not much of a player, but I do love to shoot hoops and stuff.

Don't feel lost. It's quite easy to navigate once you get the hang of it. To post/read works, click the 'Read/Write' tab on the black bar at the top. Or take a peek at the blogs.
