Here’s how it’s gonna work,
Princess.
He’ll love you first—
Not best—
‘Cuz you’re gonna screw up you’re gonna screw him over.
You’re gonna
Break his heart,
Princess.

And This Pageboy will step in,
Wisk off her cap, and show herself
A Woman,
Stronger than you.
I’m gonna mend his heart I'm gonna mend his armor,
Princess,
And he’ll love me in return.

Here’s how it’s gonna work,
Princess.
He’s gonna be you’re Prince Charming first,
But then,
He’s gonna be mine.
And he will make me his
Princess.

This was pretty crude, but cool nonetheless. :D

One suggestion:

'I’m gonna mend his heart I gonna mend his armor, '

Either put 'I gonna mend his heart I gonna mend his armor' or 'I'm gonna mend his heart I'm gonna mend his armor.'

Sorry. I'm a bit OCD about things...they didn't match though...:P

I especially love the sencond verse. Très bien. :D

Whoah, I liked that. Sounds like you're beating someone up. I love the rythym in this, and it's really well worded. I agree with Sam about the 'I gonna mend...' line, make it one or the other.
To be honest I don't really like any of those titles. I don't have any suggestions either, though. The first thing that came to mind (titlewise) when I read it was "Pow!" but I guess that's pretty dumb.
Anyway, great job.
Awesome. :)
Siempre, siempre: jardin de mi agonia,
tu cuerpo fugitivo para siempre,
la sangre de tus venas en mi boca,
tu boca ya sin luz para mi muerte.

I like how it seems to be directed right at the "Princess," and uses that title sarcastically, almost like a derogetory term... and the whole hybrid of the medieval terminology (princess and pageboy) combined with modern day slang is really cool.
Got YWS? I do.

This made me shake my head, not a good thing. Vague, self-conscious language leading me nowhere. Practically speaking, the word "'Cuz" is repulsive in a poem. There's some odd punctuation, for instance:

And This Pageboy will step in,
Wisk off her cap, and show herself

Your use of commas here is off. What you say grammatically (And this Pageboy will step in and show herself) is not what you meant (And this Pageboy will step in, wisk off her cap, and show she is).

I think I'm beginning to nitpick because I can't pinpoint more substantial problems. And I can't do that because the poem as a whole is a mess of metaphors, no clear anchor, nothing for me to say, "Right there; if you just do this than that will straighten up and ..." The brain stem is in the back and the frontal lobe in the front, which means if you ascend the brain stem you'll come more logically to the occipital lobe, which is my round about way of saying I can't see a line worth saving. I won't insult you by trying to come up with a complimentary close.

It's fairly interesting and very unique. I don't like it or dislike it, really. Sounds like something you just wrote for yourself. Makes me wonder who the princess is.
Please, sit down before you fall down.

Never mind Incandescence (I can see he's his usual pleasant self), personally I reckon this poem is really something. Sure, its not perfect (what poem is?) but I certainly dont think its terrible. As Reichieru said, its very unique and reads almost like a song - you should have it set to music ^_^

Here’s how it’s gonna work,
Princess.
He’ll love you first—
Not best—

Love the little rhyme here. The syncopated sort of rhythm you have going is what makes me think its more like a song than a poem. I can just imagine it. [taps foot to imaginary beat]

‘Cuz you’re gonna screw up you’re gonna screw him over.
You’re gonna
Break his heart,
Princess.

Love that fifth line. You could perhaps change "Cuz" to "'Cause" just for visual effect, though. Very punchy.

And This Pageboy will step in,
Wisk off her cap, and show herself
A Woman,
Stronger than you.

Where has that wonderful rhythm gone? You're going off the beat a little with this section.

I’m gonna mend his heart I'm gonna mend his armor,
Princess,
And he’ll love me in return.

I really like the imagery here. The theme of knights and princesses etc. plus the modern style is really catchy.

Here’s how it’s gonna work,
Princess.
He’s gonna be you’re Prince Charming first,
But then,

Could perhaps use a different 4th line in this stanza. From the first verse we expect a rhyme and it kind of throws the rhythm off a bit. You're back in time with this one though.

He’s gonna be mine.
And he will make me his
Princess.

Just to keep in with the rhythm I'd say you should add something to the "hes gonna be mine" line, the way you have in the previous stanzas. Like the ending. Again, punchy.

Overall, its pretty good. Its not very deep but I feel it encapsulates your emotions well. Cathartic poetry is such fun, isnt it? :D
Got a poem or short story you want me to critique?

Ignore Incandescence. I liked it. It's punchy. I can picture the speaker doing one of those angry head rolls like the chicks on Springer. Sorry, poetry makes me think of weird things. As for the mechanics of the poem, punctuation can use some tightening. You have two independant clauses in one line without any punctation between them. "I'm gonna mend his heart I'm gonna mend his armor." Semicolon, maybe? Anyway, I don't find the word "'cuz" to be repulsive (such a delicate constructive word to put in someone's critique, Incandenscence) so long as it fits with the language of the poem. I think it fits in just fine with "gonna" and "screw him over." I like the juxtaposition of the medieval with the modern language.
I reject your reality and substitute my own

I really liked this piece and recommend the title Princess. I think that you took a very basic, universal theme and you made less basic, more complex. It was well written and it all just seemed to click together.

Wow! I like this, its got style. It's a very direct poem, which I like.

Here’s how it’s gonna work,
Princess.
He’s gonna be you’re Prince Charming first,
But then,
He’s gonna be mine.
And he will make me his
Princess.

I like this stanza the best, my only suggestion, which is very nitpicky, that maybe there should be comma after "And he will make me his, Princess. To me, the linebreak seemed too sudden, so anyway, great work!

I liked the sinister feel here. It made me want to hurt the person who was talking. That's really awesome.

I generally don't go for this type of thing, but I admit, I like it. And as was said before, it does sound like a song. I can just hear 'Princess' being yelled in a sarcastic, harsh tone ^_^

This caught me a little off-gaurd when I first read it because it sounded awfully harsh. But upon second reading, I like this. It's amusing.

Very nice, I loved it... Mostly because I think I said something along those lines to one of my friends who was trying to form a relationship with my crush (backfired on her, ha ha!) and although I would've chosed "Twat in a Jar" as the title, I think "Princess" would suit it better, simply because more people would be attracted to that.

I still really love this poem--it's really sweet, even if it does have a whole new meaning to me recently :(.
Got YWS? I do.
