Welcome to YWS!

You should introduce yourself in the welcome board. This isn't the place where you should say hi. To get to the welcome board, click the community tab and then click "welcome board". Here is the link to the welcome board!

forum1.html

To say hello, just click the "new topic" button. I am, and many others will be, happy to see that you have found our site.

So you want to know how review? No problem. First read someone's work. Then, at the top of the page, hit the "reply" button. The reply button is gray with black letters. Write your review in the white box that appears, and that's it! The more you review, the more likely you will be reviewed, so do it often. Remember to not only say what you liked, but what the work could improve on.

So, with that aside:

I'm Esther, pleased to meet you. If you ever have any questions, just PM me. Seriously, I'd love to hear from you.

What's your favorite color and what things do you like to write.

Your new bud,

Esther

Hello! Welcome to YWS. I see Esther has got things covered where how to review is concerned, so here's a couple of links to help you out a bit more:

FAQ For New Users (By: Nate)
Answers to Questions Everyone Has (By: Kamas)

Hope that helps! Feel free to PM me if you have any questions, and remember you can always go to any of the mods or junior mods for help. :)
Matt.

Hey Pencil!

Well, Matt and Esth have given some good links and the basic how/where's.

Big dreams are good. They help you trudge along your path. Now, me, I dream of being featured on Science someday. Hehe. :)

So, how do you like it so far? Have any question, you can always PM me. I'd love to be bugged with questions. :P

Well, then if you'd like to talk about anything under the sun, PM me. (You can find the PM button next below the text under my avatar on the left.)

Okie. See ya soon!

Hi pencil! Welcome to the site! I'm Kaedee. Or KD. Or Kae. Or Dee. I don't know. You can call me Bob, and I won't care. (But if you want to call me Bob, you might as well call me Bart, which is much better. ;) ) *hugs*
I'm glad you found YWS. I hope it becomes part of your everyday routine, haha! I think you'll fit in very well. How did you find us, bty?
You probably know already that YWS isn't really just for getting help with writing...it's also for making friends with other people like you! That's why people love it so much. You can talk to people via the nice new Wall in each of our profiles, or you can chat with people through the PM system, or you can go in YWS's live Chat on the home page.
If you have any problems, or questions, you always want to PM a moderator, the users with green usernames. They're cool. Really. See? Lava's one.
To start exploring YWS, you might want to start at the list of all the forums right here. The Lounge and the Randomness Forum are my favorite places to go to when I'm bored.
If you like blogs, you can start your own blog here! You can also read other YWSers' blogs in the Blog section too.
Well, sorry if my welcoming message was too lengthy and boring, lol. Get posting! Cya round-

Kaedee/KD/Kae/Dee/Bob/Bart (more preferred over Bob)

Heya Pencil :)

Welcome to The Young Writers Society! :pirate3:

YWS is a great site when it comes to improving your writing, but it also has some other quirks. To begin with, the people who are members are epically cool. I am sure that you will make some great friends here. I definitely have since joining. If you have any questions about the site, or if you simply want to know where something is, just send me a private message and ask me. If you're having some more serious problems with the site though, make sure you send a private message to one of the Moderators (Users who's usernames are green).

Everyone seems to have told you the basics. Plus, they've given you some really good links to forums that you will definitely find helpful. You should check some of them out. Matt Bellamy has especially given you some links to areas that new members ten to find helpful. If you have the time, or haven't already, take a look at them. :)

So yeah... welcome to YWS!

xoxo Skins
I didn't know what to put here so I put this.

'Hush, hush!' I whispered; 'people can have many cousins and of all sorts, Miss Cathy, without being any the worse for it; only they needn't keep their company, if they be disagreeable and bad.
