Hello there. I go by a lot of names and one of them is Pritt.
I'm 13, and I live in southern Alabama, which is one of those places where everyone under eighteen is very eager to leave. I'm 5'4 and one of my ring fingers is longer than the other.
I've been writing since I was six and it's one of the few hobbies (besides fingerpainting and basic math) that has still stuck with me. I've been browsing this site and I'm getting jealous of everyone and their wonderful stories and stuff. I also really wish I wasn't crap at poetry.
I like a lot of books, especially classics. My favorite poet is Sylvia Plath. I'm a huge fan of Coldplay and I think Kate Nash is a dearie. My favorite TV show is Community. I'm restraining myself from spamming this page with emotes. ':D' is my favorite.
I joined YWS because there's an idea in my head that I'm trying very hard to turn into a novel - it involves teenage runaways, morning sickness, nosy overprotective real estate agents, and Breakfast at Tiffany's (the movie, not the book). This lovely site seems like a good place to procrastinate complain about writer's block steal ideas meet other writers. :3

After reading your post, I can see that you have a very good taste in music. Coldplay and Kate Nash? You are officially cool. Plus, you like finger painting so that makes you even cooler. If you're any good at it, you could post some of your finger paints here on YWS. There's a art & photography section, ya know? I'd like to see them!

I approve of your choice in music, and also in poetry. I love Plath's poems (but cummings is better : D) I love the : D too (even if the smileys won't cooperate and stay in text form), so I think the two of us will get along very well XD.
This lovely site is indeed, at least in my experience, a good place for all those things which you so very artfully strikethrough'd. (I kind of adore strikethrough too.)
