hello everyone. so interestingly enough, I am here because I believe I have clairvoyance and because of my dreams. Every single night since I turned five, I have experienced intense dreams. In these most recent dreams, they have been nightmares. Unlike most people, I remember every detail of every dream; I can tell you what I dreamt on the first of last month and what I dreamt two years ago this day. Sadly, they're starting to ruin my life, because they're so intense that when I wake up, usually in the middle of the night in a cold sweat, the images from the dreams haunt me and I cannot return to sleep. Thus I'm always tired and frightened of sleeping, because throughout the dream I feel and sense everything as if it were real.

A good friend of mine told me to turn all of my dreams into stories and to use them for good. So, basically, I'm here to share with you the stories that have come to me in dreams. Hopefully I can also help others while I do so.

Hi Cherry Blossom Girl. Shall I call you Cherry? :)
Welcome to YWS! You have an interesting condition. And I agree it would be a good idea to turn those dreams into stories! You'll never be short of inspiration. I've tried often to record my dreams in a journal, but I usually forget to record them, or I forget the dream itself. Well, good luck! And I look forward to reading your stuff. I have a feeling your stories will be very interesting.

See you around! :)

PS. If you have any questions or concerns feel free to PM me. I would love to help.

Welcome to YWS Cherry. I think you condition is interesting but it must be a pain to have. Bet you'll come up with some real horror stories. I have something similar happen to me only mine usually aren't nightmares and I don't wake up. Usually mine are a fantasy of based off of my life. And like you I can recall every single fine detail. But the one thing about my dreams is that I can control whats going on. Somehow in my mind I'm physically aware of what's going on and can control what happens. Sorta like a book or a game. Anyway enough about me. I hope you have fun around here.

Hey Cherry, and welcome to the site!

You have constant dreams like that? So do I. A useful (but sometimes emotionally-challenging) source of inspiration, huh? Glad you're putting them to good use, it helps to take a lot of the weight off your chest. Hope to see some of your writings soon!

mostly I write sci-fi or historical fiction, occasionally a persuasive essay, a few free-verse poetry...just depending on my mood and my dreams.

I think the control that you are talking about is called "lucid dreaming". Ive tried that before but never worked.

thank you guys!

My life's goal is to end up between YWS quotes on bottom of the page, so some part of me will be able to live forever here.
