Not a romance writer, just tried this one. This is an unfinished work and I am quite at a loss. Would appreciate comments and suggestions from you guys, and I think the title is too cheesy for me but can't think of any other title that would fit, LOL

He was sitting on the first row when I entered the room. He was with his usual bunch of jocks and they were laughing mad about something he had just said. Whatever that was, it seemed to get them all. I also noticed that the girls were all eyeing him and some of the guys, those not included in his clique, were envying him for all those attention. He was a tall, muscular guy about 6’2” and around 185 lbs more or less, I guess. His eyes were charcoal gray and his hair was jet black. He had a large mouth and a proud nose, although crooked, like Owen Wilson’s. He was a combination of Caucasian and Indian ethnicity that gave him that distinctive look—rather exotic and somewhat mysterious. Never had I imagined that he would be playing a great deal of a role in my life and never did I imagine I would be going through all things I’ve had had. If I only knew!
I decided to sit at the back and waited for the final bell to ring. Soon enough, there it was and our professor entered. He faced the blackboard and wrote something on it. As he turned to face the class, I saw what he had scribbled.
PROF. WLDADYSLAW EISTENTADT.
“Czesc (Hi)” He was looking on the sea of faces. He was an interesting-looking man. I mean, he looked interesting in a sense that his features were rather peculiar. If Christie’s Hercule Poirot would be personified, it would be Prof. Eistentadt. From what I heard, he hailed from Poland and teaches foreign languages—particularly Polish and Scandinavian—in the University. He had a fair reputation of being the best in his field although it was not really the reason I enrolled in his class. You see, I am an architecture student and hardly care in languages and stuff. It was just that I needed an elective course in foreign language then and his was the only class that would fit in my schedule.
Anyway, back to the story. I crept at the back of the room and just plainly “people-watching.” I wasn’t really paying attention to what was said by the professor nor had the slightest inclination to want to hear them. I was particularly looking at the guy I mentioned earlier, until a tap in my shoulder brought me back to reality.
“Vat ver you thinking young lady? May I probe in zhat little head of yourz?” Professor Eistentatd was hovering on me now and I felt embarrassed, being looking stupid. I saw hot guy caught me eyeing him and that made my already beet reed face more scarlet.
“Nothing, sir. I was- I was just—“ how would I say that I chose to check on the hot guy rather than to listen to his blabbering?
“No matter, vell, I think I would juzt leave it zhere. Let’z call it a zay, zhall we? Do widzenia (Good bye).”
I really felt embarrassed and when I looked up I saw hot guy grinning at me and that made my humiliation much worse. So he saw me checking on him. I puffed and heaved indignantly to myself, so what? I do have the prerogative to check on any guys that I want to check on, anyway.
I hastily stuffed my “prop” notebook untouched on the desk and stood up. As I was heading on the door, I heard a voice at my back
“Chase.”
I looked back and saw him. I was momentarily confused. Was he talking to me?
“Hi. I am Chase and you are? He held out his hands and since I was sure he was talking to me, I took it and replied.
“Hi Chase, I’m Chase, too. Short for Chastity.” I lied, it was a fake name and I figured if he caught the sarcasm. He smiled. And I saw all the hints of “I-saw-you checking-me-out” on that flashing smile so I hurriedly turn on my back and headed towards the door. Giving out fake names was not my thing and I knew sooner or later he would know that I lied.
“Wouldya like to go out tonight Chase? There was an opening fire to be lit at the grandstand later?” I can’t believe he was trailing me. Shoot, maybe the guy really thought that I am into him and would want to score homerun tonight.
Not that I don’t do “it” actually but I do have an ounce of self-respect to do it with the right guy. And for now, I think he wasn’t one of them.
“I’d be unpacking my things tonight, sorry,” and with that I scuttled off.

I was moaning about the incident in my Polish class to my roommate Samantha, but I didn’t get the particular sympathy that I was expecting.
“OMG, you really check on Chase? Chase Abbott? The star varsity of football team? OMG!”
By the way OMG stands for Oh my God. She practically used it since the day she started watching Sex and the City. No wonder, she majors in fashion merchandising.
“Yeah I did, but that was beside the point. I think I’mma drop Polish and take French instead on weekend. You think I could squeeze it in between my tutoring and bar gig?” I was looking outside the bedroom window, sitting on the sill, legs propped up and chin over my knees. It was a very fine night and I could see the glitz of fire not far from our dorm.
“And you said he actually asked you to the opening fire? OMG, sistah! He has a thing for ya”
I snorted. I turned to look at her and said “A thing for me? Yeah sure. He caught me checking on him if you must heard me.”
“Whatever, I think you should have gone with him. Anyway,” she took her coat from the rack. “Jack will take me somewhere downtown, to this Thai restaurant he keeps on ranting about the whole day. So I’ll leave you to your quiet contemplation of the opportunity you just let slipped, sistah!” Well, that explains the dress. She kissed my cheek and went off.
Samantha was an old friend from high school. Although we strike opposite ways, we had been best friends for like ever since. And Jack, his current boyfriend was also a schoolmate although a year older than us.
I was looking outside and thought of what-could-have’s. I sighed and went to the sofa and switch on the television. The idiot box was airing some random ad. After a couple of minutes, a knock came softly through my door. At first, I thought it was just Sam, forgetting something. So I came to open, not bothering to ask who was at the other side. Yeah, I know that was just plain stupid. It could’ve been anybody, and just anybody. But guess who was at the other side? Yeah, it was him, hot-guy Chase and I was frozen. Crap!
“Hi Chase,” he smiled. Oh fuss
“W-what are you doing here? Shit that was a stammer.
“Nothing,” he smiled even broader. I am sooo going to hell.
Blag!
Believe me, that wasn’t just me. It was maybe some random personae trapped in my id that had thrown the door close at Chase’s face. I am not usually that flip. But I was not expecting him that moment, I really freaked out.
There was the soft thump thump. I just stare at it, rooted at the spot, barely moving. I just listened.
After not getting any response from me, I heard his voice, “Okay Chase, I think it isn’t really a great time to hang out. I’ll see you on Friday, Polish then.” I heard footsteps walking away, fading til I can’t hear them anymore.
I returned to my spot by the window, feeling more disturbed than ever. What was he doing here? And how did he know where I am staying?
