Hi
As you can see I still havn't got a name for this story so any ideas are welcome.

Chapter 6-Trouble
“Sam, come and have a look at this,” Simon’s voice came from one of the bedrooms.
“What is it Si?” Sam said as she walked around the hammocks to get to the back corner of the room where Simon was sat, looking at something on the floor in front of him.
“Take a look for yourself,” he said, moving to the side so I could see what was on the floor.
Simon had found five weapons of sorts, two sling shots that lay beside a pile of ammo (little tiny balls that where very hard and looked like they were made of tree bark), two small pea shooters (the ammo was held in thin tubes and were little darts) and then the largest weapon was a fencing foil.
“Where did you find theses?” Sam said, looking from Simon to the pile of weapons.
“In the corner,” he said, gesturing to the darkest corner of the room, “I stubbed my toe on the hilt of the foil.”
“I think it would be fun to learn how to use these, Si, but I think we should keep it quiet for the minute though, or at least until we’ve had a proper look around, cause we’re going to have to learn down here. I baggies the sword, I’m the one who took fencing at school.”
“I guess you’re right, and I guess that you probably should have the sword,” Simon said, as he gathered up the two pea shooters and the sling shots before putting them back into the shadow, “But I don’t know what to do with this, we can’t but it back where I found it, Elliot or someone will trip over it.”
“You’re right,” Sam said, looking around the room to try and find a better hiding place, “How about up there,” she said pointing up to a small shelf up near the roof of the cave.
“Perfect,” Simon said reaching up and placing the sword, carefully, on the shelf, “If I have to stretch to reach it then Pierce, Elliot and Lisa won’t have a chance.”
“Good, now that’s sorted I think we should go and have a look at what they’re up to,” Sam said turning and leaving the room and heading towards where she could hear the others exploring.
“So, what have you found?” she asked, as she and Simon walked into the other room that had a hammock.
“We found these,” Pierce said, holding up some books, “They’re about how to use slingshots and catapults, and bows and arrows.”
Sam looked at Simon and then back at Pierce. “Like you said, we can learn to use them,” Simon said, taking the books off Pierce.
“What are you on about?” Elliot asked.
“Tell you later,” Sam said, looking at the books over Simon's shoulder, “But I think it might be time to have lunch.”
Everyone agreed and they all sat down to eat. “Pass me an apple will you,” Simon said to Lisa. Lisa picked up the apple and threw it to him. Simon caught it, but only just before it hit the floor.
“Thank you Lisa,” Simon said, in a sarcastic tone, sticking his tongue out.
Lisa replied in the same.
“Stop it you two,” Sam said, “Come on you lot, me and Si have something to show you when you’re done.”
“What is it?” Pierce said, picking up another sandwich.
“A surprise, so hurry up and finish,” Simon said, biting into the apple in his hand.
It took no time at all for the three younger children to finish eating and when they had finished Elliot said, “So, what is the surprise?”
“Go into the room next door and you’ll see,” Sam said, standing up and letting them run past.
“Are you sure this is a good idea?” Simon asked, as he walked past Sam and out of the door.
“No, but hey, it’s something to do,” Sam replied, walking into the room where they had found the slingshots.
