Hi guys. I'm Esther Sylvester and while it may say I've been on here for about a year, I haven't really checked the site seriously until today. And it got me thinking, "Hey, this site is awesome!" And so determined to improve my writing skills and make some new friends, I decided to commit. I admit it, I'm a little shy. That's why I haven't posted anything really until now. But I want to stretch my limits so here I am. I hope that you will look at my stuff and review it critically(but nicely!), and I promise to do the same. Cheers to those that make this site what it is, Esther Sylvester
Hi Esther - cool name by the way - love the rhyme - and nice to meet you. I fear that YWS might become like that - I only just joined yesterday; I've been on it heaps in the past couple of days, but I know I can't sustain that in the long run. I've got heaps of other stuff to do as well!
Hey! Welcome to YWS, all of you really! I'm met tons of friends on here and it's such a tight-knit communtity. Everyone helps each other out and it's just really great here at YWS. So here are some completely random questions:
Do you like blue cheese dressing? What's your favorite book? What's your view on the US Obama Health Care plan? What's your favorite genre to write? Do you like sports?
If you ever need help or just want to talk, just PM me

I am nothing but a mouthful of 'sorry's, half-hearted apologies that roll of my tongue, smoothquick, like 'r's or maybe like pocket candy that's just a bit too sweet.
Hey, Sylvester! Do I ever love your name! It's like that cat from Baby Looney Tunes or whatever. Not that I watch that. O.o Welcome to YWS, all of you, actually! Well, not Jazz, she's not a newbie...anyhoo, welcome. I hope you will love this site as much as I do (and more). It's always nice to see new members, they just make me smile! If you have any questions or ever need anything you can private message me. I'm always happy to help. Like, an overeager golden retriever. Oh my. I'm a rambler, you'll have to realize that Toodles! -Mizz (the newbie master)

Thanks for all the warm welcome guys. I hope to get in better contact with all of you. I shall address you all in a single bound.
To Mizzle: You didn't babble! Thanks for the kind words. I will PM you if I ever feel stuck.
To Jasmine: Oh, how I do love answering questions. I've never had blue cheese dressing. I love all types of books, but adore The Lord of the Flies, The Pearl By Jon Steinbeck, and the Chocolate War by RC. I dont really know how I feel about Obama right now. I suppose I might be a little weary of it. My favorite genre to write is fantasy, as you would see about the first post that I made. I love sports! My favorites are soccer, basketball, and football. I'm a pretty good catch. Thanks for the welcome.
To Ace: Thanks! I look forward to reading yours as well.
Navita: I like my name too. You would be surprised how little things rhyme with "Esther". I love writing scripts, however I am a bit shy to show any yet.
Esther Sylvester, cool name! yeah Im new too and its spring break so I'm Canada pretty much just leaving this site on my laptop all day. Thanks for the review by the way!
- blue cheese is gross - Loved City of Glass but I'm a sucker for David Copperfeild - Canadian health care rules! *woot*woot* - Fantasy fiction. All the way. - Swimming, soccer (what most people call football)
"His poetry was terrible. It sounds like he ate a dictionary and started vomiting up words at random."
Thanks for the welcome, Demeter! I have found it difficult to find someone who likes the Lord of the Flies as well. Perhaps it is for people with different tastes? Anyway, I shall PM you if I ever feel stuck. Maybe you could review my stuff sometime? I would do the same for you.
Zibbie- So you live in canada! Lucky dog. I've always wanted to go there. Have you ever lived in America? Fantasy fiction is something I have always loved. Let me know when you post things so I can read them!
Hey Esther, I can't say much about the site or help you really, seeing as I only just joined, but I guess I can say hey xD Like everyone else on here, I love your name! And I also love Lord of The Flies, it's such a great book; although most people I've talked to about it didn't really enjoy it. It's probably because it's a book you have to read for your GCSE, which probably puts people off it! I think I'm going to do that little survey thing too ^_^ Do you like blue cheese dressing? It's alright, I guess. What's your favorite book? A kind of impossible question. I like Lord of The Flies, To Kill A Mocking Bird, Private Peaceful (first book to make me cry! ), Watership Down, strangely Pride and Prejudice and Holes What's your view on the US Obama Health Care plan? Don't know too much about it! If it's anything like the NHS, it's probably a good idea What's your favorite genre to write? I'm random, I go along with pretty much anything. I do find Sci-Fi and Fantasy quite hard to write though. Do you like sports? Meh, it's okay. Netball and Rounders are my favourite
You've been on here for a year? Why haven't I seen you around until now you little sly sneak you?
Hello, I am AspiringAuthorA..M. the most insane member of the YWS.

Gosh, I love all the books you mentioned! They are all on my favorites! It's a pleasure to meet you. You write sci fi? That's refreshing. Not too many people write in around here. Keep in touch!
To A.M,
I've seen you around here! Yeah, I was pretty invisible before. Thanks for the welcome!
Esther Sylvester is a really awesome name. I'm pretty jealous. Welcome to YWS (even though you've actually been here for awhile). I look forward to reading you! Happy trails and puppy dog tails...er what not.
