Oh, oh, oh! This is very talented, and - don't ask me why - this makes me feel like it is a globe-poem (even I have no idea what that means), a round poem, a sort of complete-while-depicting-people falling apart poem. Really a delight to read -

Favourite lines:

the blue of your waistcoat is
slipping onto your white socks
you are undefined, leaning there
against that pale, half-painted tree-trunk, and
your face is collapsing into itself
the way wax melts and tires implode

This is really something - that simple, sweet image of a blue waistcoat, white sochs, the half-painted tree trunk, tires imploding and wax - this is lovely imagery, serving well to reinforce your main point. Also -

a little prince you are proud
of your dim colours
and your small brown shoes leaking
onto the non-green-grass of the
scaly ground
matching the feathered hat in your hand
the hair shining

This is pretty, while depicting something non-pretty. 'A little prince' (how charming), 'dim colours,' 'scaly ground' (inventive), 'shining hair' - such Prince Charming images, despite the fact that he is becoming grotesque. In this case the contrast of beast and beauty actually works, with both in one, and thumbs-up to you for another fantastic piece of art.

But even the worst decisions we make don't necessarily remove us from the circle of humanity.
