Took a day trip to London, figured I should show some photos!

Image

View across the Thames.

Image

London Eye from the bottom. Black and white, as requested.

Image

And again ...

Image

Getting to the top now!

Views from the London Eye:

Image

Busy city.

Image

Houses of Parliament.

Image

I think that's Hungerford Bridge ...

Image

Had to show you this one, because if you look closely at the bottom right corner you might see mickey mouse!

Haha, yeah, that's it. I didn't get to take pictures of anywhere else, because the Eye took up a rather large part of the day. It was fun, though! And any suggestions would be very much appreciated.

Hola, Amy! Nice pics! :D

#1: Great! 8/10. I really can't see anything wrong with this.

#2: I agree that the red thing is a bit distracting, but maybe if you changed the coloring to black and white? I'm pretty sure that you can do that. Also, the angle is a tad wonky, but understandable.

#3: I like this one better than the second one, but the angle is still strange for me. But does it really matter?:P

#4: I really like this one! It's very exciting. :D

#5: Nice!

#6: This one is my favorite. I are now jealous that you live in England. D:<

*desperately searches for something constructive to say*

Overall, I loved these! Even if I didn't, I would find it hard to find fault in a photo that you took. It would make me feel bad. :( Anyways, keep up the good work, Amy.

Hey Amy!

At first, I though LDN is something like Let's Die Now. (JK, But, I honestly didn't know it was s'posed to be London.)

Anyway,

#1. Very good, but maybe a different angle would've been better. It's because this type of photo is a very postcard-ish one. But that doesn't mean it isn't good.

#2. I agree with Knightley. Make it black and white.

#3. I so love this. The best of the all. :) And, the clouds look beautiful.( I remember taking one similar to this, but from the Singapore Flyer.)

#4. Not really my favorite. Maybe if you focused lower, on a box almost opposite to you through the frames, it would look better.

#5,6,7: London looks wow. I must go there. But, otherwise, these photos are just okay. It does capture the place well.

#8. For some strange reason, I'm really drawn toward the pic. Not just because of Mickey (can't find him) either. I really love it. ^^

Anyway, good job.
Cheers,
~Lava

Off the top of my mind, the one with the red thingy is the best. Seriously.
London seems so grey and drab in the other pictures, and you've gotta admit that sky isn't very sunny (forgive me if I'm wrong, but here that's not called sunny) so the red really stand out. I think it would be best if you made on of the middle ones red. It's possible, just use a color replacement tool in Photoshop, or select only that area and change the hue.
I just think it would make it a whole lot nicer.
PM me if what I just said is not clear.

Thanks, guys!

Timmy and Lava, I've made the picture black and white. Thanks for that!

Jen: The reason London looks drab is because, well, English weather is drab! No, it's not sunny, but I was amazed at how nice a day it was. That's how much the weather fails. I'm not so sure about making them red, but I'll try it and see how good they look.

Much better, Amy. I like them lots now. :D Also, I can sympathize with the "drab weather" you Brits experience. After all, they don't call my home "New England" for nothing. :P It can be very overcast and gray, just like England. But still, we have our good days, don't we? ;)

Hey!! :smt003

Great photos! London looks amazing. I would love to go there one day. I'm a huge Arsenal supporter if that means anything to you. Hahah. I like the title "LDN." It reminds me of the Lily Allen song of the same title (obviously about London). Lily Allen is great!

Your picture of the Parliament Buildings is spectacular. It's amazing how such a beautiful building was made for something like politics. Hahaha.

Much Love,
Chris

Aqua-a-nator! It's been too long!
I just wanted to say I love the second picture. Like, I want to print it and hang it on my wall. My, it's so desolately beautiful! Makes me think of a haunted circus...and...I'm done rambling. Nice, though, all of them!
