It was the first day of ninth grade, and Nutty was nervous. She didn't know anyone at her new school, considering she had moved to the city not two weeks ago. Her third class, biology, was taught by Mr.Levine, the only teacher she had talked to before school started. She thought he seemed nice, and she knew she was going to enjoy his classes.
Trying desperately to hear a name she knew during roll, she was surprised when Mr.Levine asked "Timothy?" A tall boy with brown hair raised a finger, looking smug. "Hey there!" Mr.Levine greeted him enthusiastically. "Got any nicknames?" "Yea," the boy said, looking around the class as if he where scoffing at them all and sizing them up at the same time. "You can call me the Pirate King." This statement was met by a fit of giggles from a few of the students. "Or Timmy." He said, his eyes raking over the row of desks in front of him. "Or," he said, looking every student in the eyes, daring them. "You can call me your little lima-bean." Nutty gasped and gaped at him. Here she was, lost in a new city, and she had found her friend from the internet!
Although nearly unable to bear it, she waited until the end of class to confront him. In the crowded hall, she stepped in front of him, smiling broadly. He looked at her with the same satisfied expression that he always seemed to be wearing. "Hi!" She trilled excitedly. "Hey," He said, unmoved. "So," She asked, drawing the word out. "Know anyone named Nutty?" He looked at her blankly. "From YWS? White Shadow?" He continued to stare. "Oh, for god's sake, Timmy! You're friend from YWS, who's user name is White Shadow who's real name is Nutty who knows that your top two crushes are Keira Knightly and Lacey Mosley, and who you asked to be the Pirate Queen." Looking at her from the corner of his eye he asked, "Are you stalking me?" "NO!" She screamed, frustrated by his lack of understanding. "Timmy, it's me, Nutty!"
Something clicked and he grabbed both of her hands, leaning close. "Oh my god, Nutty! I'm so glad I found you! I mean, I'm glad I found anyone, but I would rather have found you than that one girl." The words poured from his mouth in a mad rush. Now that he knew he knew her, he seemed much more accessible. He gasped, suddenly straightening up. Being an obsessive photographer, he pulled out his newest digital camera, pulling her head close to his. "I have got to snap this!" He nearly shouted, taking several pictures of them. Just as she was about to turn for her next class, the alarm went off and her mother screamed "Wake up!" and the hallway and Timmy and the camera and the students all dissolved as she found herself struggling out of her bed at six in the morning.
<<<Just to let everyone know, this is something I promised I'd post for Timmy, because it was a dream I had and he was in it! Teehee, yay!>>>
