I was searching for a good writing community to join with people my age, and I stumbled across this fine place!

Well, I've been writing for a while now, so hopefully I can get a few works up while the inner editor Brilane is calm (which is a fairly rare occasion).

Anywho, just wanted to say hi to everyone. So, yeah, hi!

Hello and welcome to the YWS! I would tell you that if you have any questions about how to find your away around the site, PM me, but honestly, even though I'm an old member, I haven't been around in a while and I can't find my way to everything!

I will suggest, however, that if you have questions you PM someone with a green name. They, for sure, can help you!

You have come to the right place. We YWS members will lend you our assistance every step of the way. But I must caution you, not all the criticism you get here will be merry and cheerful. Some are downright brutal and have actually made members feel the need to quit, and so they have.

But don't let any criticism you may get affect you in a profound way. Remember there is always room for improvement. Overcoming the difficulties will make you a stronger writer.
