Something is coming toward me.
The sounds it makes, amplified in the dying night.
It is father then I can see.

I wonder if I am just crazy;
I am alone, my girlfriend was right.
Something is coming toward me.

Bodies all around me
This amusement park, devoid of light.
It is farther then I can see.

Will hope that it will spare me without any sort of fee?
Or will I tell myself he'll be too full for a bite?
Something is coming toward me.

How much can I tolerate? Will I ever again be free?
The gates are shut, I have nothing, not even a pike.
It is farther then I can see.

I hear it stomping down the alley:
Loud enough to make me jump.
Something is coming toward me.
It is farther then I can see.

All our dreams can come true — if we have the courage to pursue them.

It's a lovely poem! Though I'm still trying to understand whats going on. Is something really coming towards her? It's just me, but good job! Keep it up!:3
And I vow oath to this creed and all who are within it, to protect and value them all.

This is an interesting poem. I like how it leaves the reader wondering and able to come to their own conclusions about what it really is, and that it could be a metaphor (I'm a sucker for a good metaphor). You use the wrong "farther" in the first stanza and your "then"s should be "than" - "farther than I can see". Also, "pike" doesn't really rhyme with light, night, bite, etc. I think in the fourth stanza if you say "it" instead of "he", it would be more effective because throughout you say something is coming, not someone, and it just cements the idea that the thing might not be a person at all. Apart from that good job, I find these poems pretty hard to write well, so kudos for that. :)
Matt.

I wondered why we put villains in our stories when we have plenty of them in real life; then I realized that maybe we wanted stories where the good guy wins.
