To love and to hate.
The words caress each other,
intertwining in connection.
A bond as one.
Vibrations shake them
until they collapse
in a heap of contradictions.
The "it's complicated"
rising from the crash.
It's climax
is the deciphering of
where the line divides.
How do we choose?
Does hate or love envelop us
or
do we pick what position
we want to take?
It is an erotic journey
and wherever our heart takes us,
the pulse
will beat faster,
taking us higher and higher
until someone or something
shatters.
shutters.
releases.
Today is the tomorrow that you worried about yesterday

The "its complicated"

Ok, i didnt really understand this part. What do you mean by "The "its complicated""? If you find another way to get your oint across that part should be fine.
It is an erotic journey
and wherever our heart takes us,
the pulse
will beat faster,
taking us higher and higher
until someone or something
shatters.
shutters.
releases.

Now, this part needs to be cleaned up a little too! When you have a whole new line that is a continuation of the previouse sentence, you should be adding a comma. Also, the last three words are all different sentences, so each one should be capitalized. All together your poem should look something like this!
To love and to hate.
The words caress each other,
intertwining in connection.

Vibrations shake them,
until they collapse,

If you fix it up to look something like this, it will be much better!

Allllllllllllllllllrighty. We all know that the idea is trite, but its trite because it's important enough for many authors to repeat.
I think the best part is by far
"Vibrations shake them
until they collapse
in a heap of contradictions."
That is beautiful. The rest of it kind of just glides in and out of my ears, not leaving much behind. So, although it's not exceptional, I would try picking a subject that carries a little more originality next time and see if you can get better feedback. I think you're a good writer that's a little trapped in this poem. How much an you say about love that hasn't been said already?

the end is definitely the best. makes me want to run to patterson right quick. I also agree with the person above me. That line creates a great image. as always, great job sarah :)

Hey Sarah,
I like this.. at first I was a bit hesitant because of the line "A bond as one". I don't find those emotions bond, merely they interact but you visional make it stimulating with your next line and then I don't take it literally and can understand where you're coming from, which is great!
However with that said, in this line.
"It's climax,
is the deciphering of,
where the line divides."

I would so love this phrase if you changed "divides" into "becomes perplexed" but of course, that is ultimately your choice(hey your title!)
A climax is a part of a line or a timeline, I don't see how it can be divided, and plus you said above it was a colaboration of some sort i.e. the emotions or what your feeling, contrary to the relationship. Anyways you can correct me if I am wrong.
Also, I know its almost pointless and tedious to point this out but maybe you just didn't catch it. Change "It's" to "its".
Take care-
