The New Guy

Hey guys, I'm new here! I thought an intro would be in order before I become a regular here. I am a recently new writer, but I have always been an avid reader. My bookshelf is filled with many books and I love to read them. Inspiration to writer came from another forum I am still on (Battlefield Heroes War Stories Forum). So I may not be the best, but I'm pretty decent. So you guys can feel free to critique my stories! Anyways here I am!

P.S.- I'm currently reading the book Dune by Frank Herbert, excellent book you should check it out!

Anyways...
I hope you get the chance to check out our chatroom. You can find the entrance to it on the main page or under the tab 'Community' on the top. It's a great place to get yourself known, which is nice.
Bloggers are a type of writers, you can say. So, on YWS, we give our users the option of having a blog. If you want to see an example click on someones name, it'll take you to their page. If they have a blog it will say so on their page. I don't have one, so, don't waste time looking to see if I do.
But, alas, welcome.

Ah so many good books! I guess currently my favorite book (I consider it a book) is probably Watchmen. Also, I'm not that deep into Dune yet but heres a little over view from Wikipedia.

Set in the far future amidst a sprawling feudal interstellar empire where planetary fiefdoms are controlled by noble houses that owe an allegiance to the Imperial House Corrino, Dune tells the story of young Paul Atreides (the heir apparent to Duke Leto Atreides and the scion of House Atreides) as he and his family accept control of the desert planet Arrakis, the only source of the "spice" melange, the most important and valuable substance in the universe. The story explores the complex and multi-layered interactions of politics, religion, ecology, technology, and human emotion, as the forces of the Empire confront each other for control of Arrakis and its "spice".
