Andrew
Andrew pulled up to school in his broken down truck that had graced him with starting. Living off his parents made life easier than he thought. Now that he was on his own, Maria, his bucket of bolts, was all he could afford.
How embarrassing.
The truck sputtered into the parking lot, rattling on, with Andrew lost in thought behind the wheel. He barely noticed a girl standing in the middle of the isle.
"Shoot," Andrew slammed on the breaks pulling Maria to a screeching halt, inches from the girl's feet.
She glared menacingly at him and walked over to the open passenger window, "Watch it, will you?" she frowned.
"Yeah, sorry about that," Andrew felt his face begin to redden. Just then some biker dude walked up behind her, probably her boyfriend or something.
Great.
He walked over to the driver's side and yanked open the door. "What are you doing?!" he shouted. His breath wreaked of smoke.
"Look, man, it was an accident. No one was hurt, just chill out ok?"
"You could've killed her!" the guy raised his voice even louder.
"Whatever, dude," Andrew chuckled and hopped back into the driver's seat, "I already apologized."
Before either could say any more on the subject, he angled across the lot and pulled into a parking space.
(Is that ok for a starter?)
