How did it make you feel
To beat me down, to break my will?
Did it make you feel good
To know I couldn't fight you?
What went through your mind
When you pushed me down and hit me?
Did you ever stop to think, maybe,
If you should instead of could?

But you didn't stop to think, did you?
You didn't stop to wonder.
You didn't stop for anything;
My cries couldn't stop your plunder.
You didn't stop to think, did you
When you pushed apart my knees.
You didn't stop to think, did you,
When I begged for mercy, please.
Nor did you stop to consider,
When you caused me so much pain,
If perhaps you'd gone too far
In your sick and twisted game.

You never once thought twice
About ripping off my skirt.
You never thought about my wounds
And how much it #### hurt.
Every time you came in me
You filled me with your hate.
You never, ever stopped to care
That what you did was rape.
You never wiped away the tears
That streamed across my face,
Just forced yourself inside of me
At an ever quickening pace.

How the hell do you feel now
You worthless piece of ####?
You took away my innocence,
You took away my pride.
You left me here with nothing
But a sickness deep inside.
No soap can wash away the filth
That burns me from within.
I wonder how you'll feel
When you're burning for your sins.

This is a really touching piece of writing. It's obviously very personal and I understand that it must be hard to write about something like that. It is an almost flawless piece of poetry, it completely rolls off the tongue, something that is really important in poetry. Well done!

Thank you, for your kind words. Yes it is very personal and hard to write about such things sometimes, but it is also neccesary. Some one needs to write about things like this so that others may be aware of these things and how they effect people. May God Bless you and yours.

I'll be honest, once I started reading it, I almost didn't want to continue. Not because it was bad, but because I could feel the anger and hurt. So, I took a few minutes and then I came back and read it again, and I was glad that I did. You have a powerful point of view on this. Very nicely written.
I'm not really sure theres anything wrong with this. The grammar, the flow, it all seems well constructed and well thought out.
This poem, to me, portrays a very different kind of sad, one that is much deeper than most. I'll say again, very nice. And if this is personal, you're obviously very brave and very strong.
