Lounge vs. Randomness

There is almost never a topic posted in The Lounge that should have instead been posted in Randomness. Yet, the reverse is not true! Just looking at the Randomness forum now, I see tons of topics that would fit just fine in The Lounge. But, our policy has always been that if it's posted in Randomness, let it be. So, those topics stay.

But I think a number of people may be confused about where your topic should go. Here are the descriptions for both forums:

Randomness: This forum is the home of those topics that have gone off-topic. This is also the place to post topics that don't really make much sense.

Lounge: The catch-all discussion area. Sit back, relax and chat!

So, you see? The Lounge is pretty much for everything. The only stuff that doesn't go in The Lounge are kind of silly/random stuff. That's stuff like "Rate the username above you" and the such.

And please, create more stuff in The Lounge! YWS is predominately a social community. But The Lounge ends up getting ignored because of the blogs and the chatroom. So if you could, try to help The Lounge out a bit
