I LOVE password protects. When I was younger (Much younger) I would look at my brothers stuff, so this is very important. :P I use the same one for all my writing, too, so I'll never forget it.

I also can not write by hand. I can't write it down fast enough, so my mind is far ahead of my hand, and then it doesn't come out right. Therefore, I only type, so my mom can never find notebooks or anything. :P

I write really depressing stuff, so it's very awkward to let my mom read it. I have to assure her that I'm not suicidal or anything. :P

I never knew that Alt Tab thing. I love it! Much less suspicious than exiting or minimizing something. :P

I had this problem long ago, when I first attempted writing. My dad walked in, read what I was reading out loud (I hadn't realized how horrible it sounded until then) barked out a laugh and left. I deleted my document and didn't attempt to type out stories until I had a computer in my room.

And my writing journal, its been stolen (I keep it in my backpack and pull it out all the time.) Most people take it, attempt to read it and then give me a dirty look. "Your writing is atrocious."

But the way I see it; this is bound to happen. Writing is meant to be read, unless your selfish and write only for yourself.
I can't use passwords on my computer. Actually, my computer used to be password protected, and only my parents knew the password. Which was awesome, because you needed the password to download, upload open or move pretty much anything on your computer. And itunes store was locked :xd:
But I have a laptop know, so privacy is simply closing the top and pushing it under my bed.
Another great tip: never clean your room. If my room is so messy the floor cannot be seen, my parents won't attempt to enter. Clean it, and I find them sitting on my bad, mussing though my folders.
Naked I came from my mother's womb, and naked I will depart.
