It's not perfect...but I think it's good? This is when she sees a shadow from underneath the door crack.

Come sail the stars with me Through the sky not through the sea Come sail the stars with me Take me hand and make believe Come sail the stars with me Through the sky not through the sea Come sail the stars with me Take me hand and make believe~JT Lloyd
Yes, I agree with you--it's good and gets a thumbs up from me. However, I think to improve this you could start by defining the details of her hand a little bit more. It all looks a tad bit rushed and with the detail put into the rest of her body, clothing, and even her shoes/trainers, it stands out.
I understand your reason for washing in a yellow colour over her face, because it is the light from the doorway. However, her face just seems to be randomly covered with yellow splotches and it took me a while to realises why... I think it would much better blended the colour in with the rest of her face in order to create a much fainter wash of yellow.
Also, take care around the edges of her face... See just above her nose is a splodge of yellow mixed into the black background? This would look a little neater if tidied up a bit more.
I would also love to see a bit more expression in her face; though what makes the picture for me is definitely the expression in her eyes so I think you've managed to draw that fairly well.
Keep drawing and feel free to PM if you any questions or work whihc needs to be reviewed

Four kinds of people I hate most in life. 1. People who use a preposition to end a sentence with. 2. People who can't count. 3. People who think it's 'clever' to quote ironic phrases.
Okay, I can see it now. This is good. You did really well for profile because it's very hard. And took me the longest to learn. However, there are somethings that bugged me: What's with the yellow marks? were you trying to shade or something? I don't like, it looks like you spilled some breakfast on it or something. And secondly, the hands. It seems like you spent so much time on everything else but left out the hands! Everything is important, and I know they're hard, but you have to work at them. Make sure and study your own hand in the positions you want it in. That always helps me! ~Classy
