Good grief, this is really gruesome. I see no legends, no explanation to the bear-man, and really no reason for him to attack the girl. A little explanation on that would be good; other than that, it's fine.
You do mention that he would turn into a bear, but I didn't quite understand how eating humans would stop that, unless there was an evil witch or stemother involved, lol.
Keep writing!

Besides everything Jenthura said, here's what I think:
I'm a bit confused as to the plot/point of the story. Usually a prologue gives at least SOME explanation as to what the story is about, but in this case, I'm left confused. Is it about the bear-man, or someone say, trying to hunt/find/or eliminate said bear-man? If the first, you may want to go into some sort of explanation as to his past (how come he's a bear-man?), why he thinks eating humans will stop him from turning into a giant bear and so forth. If it's about another person who is trying to find the bear-man for whatever reason, this prologue may make a tad more sense. Do you get what I'm saying? I think that with a little editing, or maybe just more explanations, this will be a very interesting and captivating (also definitely original!) story!
I gave up telling people I hear voices. So now I talk to the voices instead.
