I'm new here and after I get done a few more reviews I'll start posting a story of mine, but first I have a question. My fanfiction is divided into chapters, each with a cliffhanger. Do I post one topic and just keep adding to it or do I post a new topic with each new chapter I finish?

I saw people are posting a thread per chapter but I just wanted to make sure about this and introduce myself a little....thanks. :)

Ahlan wa Sahlan YWS, Brian! Good to have you here. :)

I am Juniper, but you can call me June. If you have any questions or need any general help around the site please don't hesitate to send a message my way; I'll be more than willing to help. :)

As for your question, it's preferred to post each chapter in a new topic, because more people will see each chapter like that. There's no rule stating that you cannot just update your first thread, but I think a lot more people will have an easier time reviewing you if you do it individually, dear. :)

Good luck! Welcome aboard our ship! :)

June :)

Hi June, thanks for the quick reply and welcome. I just submitted my story in the fanfiction section, but when I looked at it, the first line of each paragraph was indented. Is there any way to have that not happen? I think it looks kinda bad... :?

Hmm, I tried looking into it, Brian, but I don't know if the indents can be avoided? It doesn't look bad, actually. It's pretty much standard for writing (take a look at most published books. :) They have that funky indent going on).

Well I guess I'll just have to update my thread because I'm getting an error message when I try to post the next chapter. It says I have to give 18 reviews before I can post a new topic...that's not going to happen for each chapter I post as there will be like eight of them. :?

Oh no, I’m sorry, you’re under the impression that here on YWS we *help* writers instead of just feeding their gremlin tendencies.
