So...I'm new. Obviously.
My name is Jayleigh. I'm seventeen...almost eighteen.
Currently all my works-in-progress are just that. Finishing things is not my forte. *crosses fingers* I hope that will soon change.
Usually I write romance. Highschool's the norm. Again...soon will change as I mature.
Umm. Not sure what else to say here so...talk to me! haha.

Before we begin, I should tell you a bit about the rules on the site.

~ There's a 3:1 ration on the site. That means you need to review three pieces of work for each work of your own that you post. Pretty easy, right?
~ No cht spk or ALL CAPS. This is a writing site, so we like to keep things proper. ^-^
~ Please rate the works that you post accordingly (G, PG, PG-13, or R). If something is rated R, it needs to be done as so.
~ Have fun! This is a wonderful writing community to be a part of (at least in my opinion ) and what we care most about is everyone learning to become a better writer. You'll meet a lot of people and find things out about yourself that you probably didn't know before. I know I have. ^-^

But let's get to know more about you! What's your favorite color? Favorite animal? What is your favorite part about writing: creating the characters, building the plot, or imagining the world? If you could meet anyone from the past, present, or literary world, who would you meet?

Well, my favorite color is purple. But can sometimes be orange. It depends on my mood I guess. Same with animal. Some days I love pandas, others koalas, silver back gorillas, and sometimes the white bengal tiger. *shrugs* Oooh. My favorite part of writing? hmm. Good question. I always rush into creating the characters. But imagining the world is always fun. If I could meet anyone from the past, I think I would want to meet Moses. I'm no religious nut, but finding out what really happened with the pharaoh always intrigues me. XD
Well...I have no other information left in me. Ask more questions. haha.

Mira took care of all the rules so I guess you now know all those. I totally understand what you mean about having trouble finishing things. I have so many stories posted up here that I just cannot finish! I totally can't wait to read what you write. I'm sure you'll love it here at YWS!

I absolutely adore your avatar! Where'd you get the picture for it? Is it from a book? A movie? I used to be totally addicted to Twilight, but now I realize how much of a fad that was. The Vampire Diaries are much better written. Have you read them? For some reason, vampires are just extremely interesting!

Sorry about the fact that I sometimes use exclamation points a lot. And smilies! Don't you just love smilies? They just make me smile inside!

Sorry. Just had to get that out of my system! So, is there anything else you'd like to tell us? Do you have a favourite sport? How about a favourite band? (Or song!) What do you think you'll be when you graduate? What's your favourite school subject? Why?

Boy can I relate. But honestly, one of the best ways to concur this is to check out the Contest Forum. This way, you’ll feel more challenged to finish something.

My avatar is the character Jessica from True Blood. Which is both a T.V. series and a book series. The Sookie Stackhouse Novels. I haven't read them yet (on my list of things to read) but I hear they are amazing.
I'm more of a dancer than a sports fanatic. But, I like going to our school's football games friday nights.
I read the Vampire Diaries years ago and can't stand to watch the show...even though I make sure I am home and the T.V. is on every Thursday at eight to watch it. I enjoyed the series.
I would like to be an English teacher when I graduate in June. It's been a goal of mine since I can remember. And, obviously, my favorite subject in school is English.
As far as favorite band and songs, well, depends on my mood I guess. When I want to just mellow out I'll listen to some older bands like the Who and Pink Floyd. But if I just want to dance around acting crazy, basically anything techno. XD
