The Much Lost

I search
everywhere
I look
But I cannot find

I am not pleased
not
at
all

I am lost
within the stacks
within the shelves
within the world

I find...

• You cannot find what? I understand how vagueness can play a part in poetry very well, but in this case, it just bluntly leaves off the reader.

• This is a very nice stanza but it seems as if some thing's missing, I can't quite place my finger on it, but it may need more of a definite conclusion. This stanza leaves us questioning and not wanting, but needing, more.

This was a very nice poem that is politically correct and for me, displayed the distractions in life that over shadow what's important.

I did think that it was incomplete and trailed off at the end leaving us with nothing final to ponder.

In all, this poem really spoke truths that we need to understand more and I think you did a nice job.
