C* is C with the finger on the B string 1st fret removed
C** is the same shape as C* but on the E and A strings

((i'm not so good with chord names :))

Also this song has an official copyright so don't try to steal it :)

and i just realised that tab doesnt work on yws so the chords are a bit close sorry

Think Again

C
I know
C*
I’m hiding
C** D
What I want to say
C C*
But is that so bad
C**
Saving you
D
From yourself?

C C*
You sit me down,
C**
Say the same words
D
Over again
C C*
I know I can’t deny
C**
I fall apart
D
Every time

Am
I just thought, for once
C
It would work

You would stay
EM
Happy

Could we make
G
Something up, some kind of

Fantasy?

Am C
I know, it’s not real

Can’t be true
Em
Oh, wont you
G
Just please think again

Make friends with this one?

G*
Let’s not start,

Again,

G

Again, this dream

Will never end

C
Make one of your
C*
Failed relationships, *
C**
Work now
C
I’m so tired of
C*
Picking up your slack
C**
I’m running out of
D
Tissues to wipe your tears with

Am
I just thought, for once
C
You could do it
EM
Without me

Testing the ground
G
You walk on, Some kind of

Fantasy?

Am C
I know, it’s not real

Can’t be true
Em
Oh, wont you
G
Just please think again

Make friends with this one?

G*
Let’s not start,

Again,

G

Again, this dream

Will never end

C C*
If you want me to care
C**
Every time
D
I’ll be there
C C*
But I hate, when you explain why,
C** D
It’s never your fault

He did this

He was that

What kind of people

Are you choosing?

It’s not me,

Its not them,

That broke your heart,

Its you

Am C
I know, it’s not real

Can’t be true
Em
Oh, wont you
G
Just please think again

Make friends with this one?

G*
Let’s not start,

Again,

G

Again, this nightmare

Never Ends

I am not talking about the person you would die for. I am talking about to the person you would live for.

Wow - I like the rhythm you have going, but I dont really understand the lyrics? Is it a parent/friend/sibling trying to help someone get over a breakup?
Theres noone better to write for young people than young people...

:) thanks

Its someone who's sick of having to listen to her moan about all her failed relationships without actually doing anything to make them work.

Rhyme/Rhythm:
You kind of write lyrics the way I write lyrics. No real rhyme scheme and not a lot of punctuation. :)
I love that though. Songs don't have to rhyme to be songs.
Now with the punctuation, I'm starting to use punctuation more because what may make complete sense to you, may not completely translate to another reader. Just like prose and poems, songs are stories made out of sentences. I think just by adding a little more punctuation, (it doesn't have to be every line by any means), you'll give a slightly better understanding because it'll be easier to see where one thought starts and another ends. You know what I mean? :)
I couldn't make sense of the rhythm. I couldn't feel the beat or hear the song in my head at all. Maybe you can, I don't know. I think the punctuation thing might help this out.

Topic/Overall:
I wasn't sure what it was about until I read your last post. :) So now I'm going to read it again and see what doesn't make sense with that in mind.

Ella_Mercy wrote:What I want to say
But is that so bad

This didn't make sense. It's like your missing a line in here. Or you could rephrase the second line to something like: 'Is that it's not that bad'

I liked this.

Hide from the end

Part of this makes sense to me and part of it doesn't. The 'make friends with this one', is her referring to the boyfriend, she wants him to reconsider and be friends with her, right?
The last line doesn't make sense to me. I don't understand how it fits in with the rest of the stanza.

I liked this too. :)

I liked those last couple stanzas too. It was a lot better for me the second time I read through it. :) You've got a lot more good here than not so keep up the good work :D

Thanks :) I understand about the punctuation, i never punctuate my songs because then you rule out changing the rhythm at some future point ((which i do a lot))

I could probably post the notation somehow if you want to see what it sounds like, and its going on youtube once my band can play it :)
