Hey there!

Hey everyone! So, I'm chellelynn, but you can call me chelle. It's easier. I love to read and write. I'm eighteen years old and I live in Canada. I'm a dancer, a show jumper, I love yoga, and I love to go out on the weekends.. and the weekdays haha. I've never written any short stories, but I did start on a novel that after about one hundred pages I gave up on. I used to write a lot of poems, so I'm sure some of those will be posted up here. I can't wait to see everyone's talents!

So, you dance? I used to - what kind do you do? I can't wait to read some of your poetry, since that's my favorite, although I do prose as well sometimes.

There are lots of things to do around the site. Post your work, review, play games... However, there are a few things that I'd like to direct you to. ^-^

YWS has a lot of Groups
that focus on fun things or concepts that will help you in writing. Character Development, For Narnia!, and Grammar Freaks are just a few of the groups on the site.
We also have a lovely little Chatroom where you can instant message other members. ^-^ It's a great place to meet new people.

Also, I suppose you're wondering about the different members on the site and their colored names. How about I tell you a bit about that?

Purple - These lovely people are instructors and some of the best reviewers on the site. They make the world of Writing a better place.
Blue - Greeters are colored blue and hang around the Welcome forum. They're job is to meet new members like you and make their entrance into YWS as smooth and fun as possible.
Green - These members are moderators and all are awesome. They make sure the forums are in the right order and that everything is running smoothly. Light green means they are junior moderators while dark green will mean they are full moderators.
Orange - These are distinguished members. They are the retired moderators.
Red - These amazing-awesome-coolio people are the admins of YWS! Without them, the site wouldn't exist. :O But, luckily, they are here and we get to share our love of writing while making new friends. ^-^ How cool is that?
