Why hello there writing world :)

Hello there writing world, how are you on this fine day?

I'm keiraMae., and my bestfriend (fragile_heart(!)) showed me this website a few months ago, and I've never really thought of joining it until recently. I was going through some junk and I found some poems and such.. I'm not very good, but I guess I'll give it a try.

I'm really new to this website.. so I'm currently a little confused about how things work.. but I'm sure with some friendly help, I'll get the hang of it soon.

Also, I am quite shy, so I'm not sure how to make an introduction of myself.. lets see.. I love everything about dance (and dance shows like ABDC and SYTYCD), I love to read, I love to draw, and I also love to experiment with my thoughts by putting them on paper.

I currently don't have much good material.. so thats basically all I can think of to say about myself for now.. so yeah!!

Anyways, here are the rules...

2:1 -- For every story you post, try to review two other pieces of work. Reviews are at least three lines long, and you can just post stuff that you dis/liked of stories, comments, etc.

Plagiarism: big no no. But that's pretty obvious, right?

No CAPS/chat speak. Unfortunately, as fun/convenient it may be, you have to steer clear of it. You can say things like lol, but dunt t@lk like di$.

Notice the different colored names? Well, those people are called Mentors. They've been chosen to do specific tasks around the site to help make it better! For example; us blues are Greeters, purples are Instructors, reds are Administrators, oranges are Distinguished Members, and light/dark greens are Junior/Moderators!

So, what exactly do these people do? Well, Greeters greet (duh ), Instructors help with reviews and writing tips, Administrators update the site and add new features, Distinguished Members are retired YWSers, and Mods help keep the forums clean and clear and under control.

Have you checked out the Knowledge Base ? It's this cool little library that can tell you anything about the YWS website or writing! If you ever get lost, it's the place to go

Or what about the Will Review for Food? Basically, that's a forum where you can request a review from any of the members who have a post open. You can check mine out in my signature where it says Reviews for Change. Just send me a link, and a review will appear like magic.
