hey I am new here and I totally hope I'll love it here.I hope I'll get tips on my writing and later become a better writer.

I'm Shauni and it's a pleasure to meet you and have you here, with us!
I'm sure you will become a great writer; with time, you will learn a lot with our community. If you explore our scroll banner ( that bar on the top on the page with different, big elements) and you pass your mouse through them, you'll notice that we have lots of different topics. We have the "Resources" button where you will find lots of writers' tips that you can use! And also, look in the Community Forums. You will find d a hand full of different writers' tips forums. Give it a look.

On the YWS, we have three major rules. Essential for our well functioning and crucial to make this big machine rolling with us having fun while it roles.

1st: No caps and/or capitalized sentences/words.

2nd: Please keep a 2:1 ratio. This means that for every work you submit, you should at least, make two reviews on somebody else's work.

3rd: Rate your works accordly. If they have any sexual content and/or f-word, rate them R. Works rated PG-13 below will appear on the YWS front page.

These are pretty simple, so don't get too scared. You'll find them easy to work with!:D

We have a chat, you know? Only for YWS users, when you enter, you need to write your YWS user name and password like you'd normally do for entering the YWS, them choose a room. I always to to "The Lounge". You can have a blast there!

Check as well our blogs! Always with the freshest news on our buddies. Sometimes they might need some help or just want to write something funny that has happened in their lives. You can create your own blog too!

Welcome, welcome, welcome Nyiiri! It's so nice of you to join our big, happy YWS family!

Have you noticed there are people on YWS with different colored usernames? Well, they all have jobs on YWS.

There are Greeters, like Shauni and I, who welcome new members to YWS. They have blue usernames.

Then there are Purples or Instructors who review people's work and help them improve in their writing. If you'd like a detailed critique from one, follow this link-

The Light Green usernames are Junior Moderators who control one forums and Green ones control all forums.

Red usernames are our Administrators of YWS. Nate is the head Admin because he created YWS and is currently remodeling it. The new YWS will look like this-

Oranges are Distinguished Members of YWS. They are retired Mods.
