What is your favorite story?

I've been thinking about my all time favorite story and the realization came up that out of three of my favorite stories, only one of them was in a book form. So I want to know what your guy's favorite stories are that are NOT limited to just books. My favorite stories in no particular order are:
1. Ender's Game by Orson Scott Card (the only book)
2. Les Miserables by Victor Hugo but Broadway version
3. Tales of Symphonia (the video game)

I love the book version of Les Miserables. Never watched the musical, though.
The Harry Potter series is also among my faves. But again, I loved the books. They cut out too much from the movies.
I like Mary Poppins, the musical version, though.

I guess most of my favourites are books. Stories are so much better painted in them, donchathink? You can see what they're thinking.
