Angel

I did this drawing when i was about 9 years old for a church contest. Thought Id share it with you guys.

Well, you were nine so I can't give you too hard of a critique.

It's very cute, Dr. Pepper Skater Punk!

The only advice I have is...

The mouth. Where is it? She doesn't have one. ^_^ Mouths = very important.

The hands. Study human proportion, and you will see that your hands are much too small. Hands are so difficult to draw, aren't they?

Her outfit. It seems, er, more suitable for Charlie's Angels then heaven. It's a bit too revealing.

My advice? Study human proportion and draw. The only way to get better is to practice, after all!

Ok you were nine so I will be nice haha.

There needs to be a mouth or else she will starve haha.

You had body structure of some sort, but by now I hope that has improved haha.

The outfit I like it sorta, but this is like angels gone bad haha.

Hands are small and she looks like she is about to drop the cross hmm a little bigger, and yes I know they are very hard to draw when your that age, and even now.

The wings need more texture.

The eyes aren't even.

Hey Doc. P, ambitious picture you have going here. I like it, it's not bad.

Overall Appearance:
This is a rather sketchy picture. The lines are unrealistic and shaky.

Face:
Good job on the eyes. Yes, a mouth, no matter how petite, is appreciated.

Attire:
She's an angel? Pretty low cut shirt you have there. Wow. Most Christians/Catholics would not approve of this. Nope, nope, nope.

Hand w/ Cross:
Her hand is twisted in an unnatural position while holding the cross.

That's all I care to crush of your childhood dreams. Good job though.
