Now darling, this is great! I love the shadowing and the paper!

The match:
I love the texture on it, that's just great! (Do you have a tablet?)
The fire is not as good, it would be great if the picture was less realistic.
Ty to apply the strange colours you see in a fire, like purple and green and make it more wispy.
That would definitely improve it!

The paper:
This is great too, I just adore the detail!
Only complaint/nitpick is that the paper would curl more if it was burning
Make it appear as if it was burning more

The letters:
I have no complaints for these, the old fashion feel is nice!

Overall:
This was a really great piece of work!
I'll look forward to reviewing you again.

Hey lava! This is awesome. It seems to have a background story and makes for a nice thinking topic.

I do think though, the fire is too... shall I say stationary. If you observe a match flame, it's not only as stereotypical as a birthday candle, but it twists, and curls and such. Try to give it a bit more life.

Also, the area is pitch black. You'd think that, from the light of the fiery match, there'd be at least a little more light than you portrayed.

Otherwise, It's very pretty and the concept is good. Awesome job.

O_o Wow you made the whole thing with photoshop, on your own? I am so impressed... I used photoshop for a bunch of school projects in a dumb business class, and my skills never amounted to anything fabulous, but in comparison to that, THIS is fabulous. And even not in comparison to that! Granted, it doesn't look very realistic but still it looks very amazing. The fire is my favorite party because it looks like it is painted together or something. The match head itself looks kind of funny, and almost too brown. I've burnt a lot of matches in my life, and they heads become black, as well as a portion of a stick since the flame is never directly on top of the match head. Maybe burn a match and see what I'm talking about? If you added that effect, it might look a bit more realistic.

I a little confused on what the picute is supposed to represent. Some of the picute is to dark to see the wording. It does have a certain style that can be all on it's own and to others thats great. What I recomend is that you try different angles. Keep up the good work!
