That paint program you appeared to use is not the best. It's very hard to color pics with it, make lines, erase and other stuff. Try drawing a pic in pen, or dark pencil then scan it onto your comp. Then you can color it and then at least you will have the picture done, you just have to color. I love the red/auburn hair. And I love the Maximum Ride Series. You need practise, I won't tell you don't. The need more detail, look at some pics of angels or birds and use that patteren to help add detail to their wings.
