WARNING: I AM NOT A POET!!!! i just couldn't think of any other way to express this, so please give me as much feedback as you can!

-----------------

Will we ever stop running?
Nervous feet hitting the ground,
a continuous tapping,
always wondering,
what will be our final destination?
Always wishing we knew,
where had all of this began?
when did our lives turn into this?
a supposed living hell,
screams all around us,
more suffering,
than living,
more despising,
than caring,
a continuous sob,
in a never-ending darkness,
maybe that's why,
we are now sprinting,
more than ever?
maybe we are finally seeing light,
maybe we will wake up one of these days,
and realize,
we have to do what is right.
Yo, ho, haul together,
hoist the colors high.
Heave ho, thieves and beggars,
never shall we die."

I disagree with you. You are a wonderful poet. And I liked this poem a lot. It was very powerful and moving.
I know that this post is probably just saying how good your poem was, but I think that people should do that too. I liked it.

Keep writing poetry cause' this was good!

I agree with those that posted above me. Write more poetry because this was really good. The emotions were all there and perfectly presented and clear. This was an absolutely great read.
All that I'm after is a life full of laughter, as long as I'm laughing with you.:)

Hey Mags

I agree with the first few replyers, this is an awesome poem! However, remember to capatilize each new line. If I remember correctly they should always be capitlized even if it is not the beginning of a sentance henceforth:

Nervous feet hitting the ground,
a continuous tapping,
always wondering,

"a" in
a continuous tapping
should be capitilized even though the line before it doesn't end.

I love this poem Maggie! Keep writing!
