((Ech: I'm not really fond of claiming in storybooks. Like I said in his profile, you want him, you earn him. You can just walk into the hall and sit next to him if you need an idea for coming back in. ^.^ It'll also help you towards earning him =) ))

Xyver Roan Herond

I glared up at Jer, "What's his problem?" I asked my group.

They all shrugged. We started getting back to our conversation but another voice blasted into our bubble.

"Jer's right. We can't just ignore the fact that we're all stuck together for the foreseeable future. Breaking up into different groups is just going to make us compete with each other, maybe even refuse to work together. Now, I don't know what the government wants us to do, but I'm damn sure we'd be better off sticking together than we would be if we split ourselves up."

"Do I see a pot calling the kettles black?" Gwen said in mock disbelief.

Michael’s ears went red and he sat down, obviously not having a good answer.

Michael

"Do I see a pot calling the kettles black?" Gwen was almost laughing at him.

He sat down, feeling himself burning with embarrassment and hatred. On a bad day, without the scientists and their tranquillisers lurking in the background, he might have lashed out at her.

You're not going to take that, are you? First her and her buddy James team on you in dodgeball, and now this? Again, Michael wished the voice would shut up. After all, hadn't it been supporting Gwen's side of the argument a moment ago? That was before she picked a fight. We don't back down, Michael. Ever.

He shook his head, the burning feeling leaving with it, and he looked up with a smile, "You know something, Gwen? I might normally prefer to act on my own, but at least I can see when I need some change. You, on the other hand," He laughed, "You four are just so caught up in your need to act like you're better than the rest of us that you've forgotten that the world is ending around us. What the hell's the use of having your little clique? And don't even bother trying that 'pot calling the kettle black' crap again, I think it's pretty clear that I've dropped that act."

Jer

Jer smiled faintly. At least someone's got it. Jer though rather loudly to himself, hoping to get to the mind readers. All I'm trying to do is help them before they need it. We'd be in a good spot if we could trust each other and respect from afar at the very least. As long as this goes on I think we have a chance to fail.

Jer stood for a moment, arching backwards, stretching his back and wings. A quick flutter and he sat back down. A feather brushed past his lip. Jer sneezed. "Bless me." He said absently as he let down his hands from his mouth and nose.

Gwen

Gwen could not believe what Micheal had just said to her. Her face started to turn red with anger.
"Calm down, Gwen, don't start another fight," James said. He knew what could happen if she lost control of her temper again.
Gwen breathed in and out a couple of times, trying to calm herself down a bit. She turned and stared diectly at Micheal. "Okay, you say that we all think that we're better than you, but maybe- just maybe- we might want to have some friends. We're still part of the group, but we have a close relationship with each other. And yes, I do know that the whole damn world is ending around us. Before you ask again."
"Good job," James said, pleased that she hadn't lost control.
"But next time try to not sound so stuck-up," Xyver said. "I don't think we want a fight within our own group."
"Got it," Gwen said. She knew the Xyver was only trying to help, she smiled into his face and he smiled back. Although, she really had an itch to mess with Micheal some more. Maybe later.

As I walked into the hall everyone glared at me. Am I really that ugly? I sat down next to the boy that played with me in dogde ball.

"Hey" he said as he smiled at me,

"Hello" I smiled back then sat in silence.

James

James looked over at Victoria, making sure she hadn't freaked out about the whole argument. She looked fine, so he gave her hand a squeeze. "Hey, you're okay, right?"

"Yeah, why are they argueing again? It's so stupid," She looked over at Gwen.

"They, just don't know how to get along, yes we are a team, but that doesn't mean that we need to like each other," He replied glancing at Micheal. He still looked mad.

"Yeah, but if we're going to be a team then we need to put our differences aside, right?"

"Most of the time, but while we're here it doesn't matter," James leaned back against the railing, his one arm supporting him.

Victoria groaned and stalked off.

"Wait!" James called after her. "Where are you going? It's almost time to start." I shrugged.

"Well I'm going to teh bathroom. I'll be back in a minute." She stalked off again.

I don't think so...
Writing once a day keeps the voices away, and I've created a blog all about it: Daily Dose.
...and I'm now trying to create a user group based on the idea! Tell me if you're interested!

Victoria:

Visctoria sighed as she made it out of the gym. She had no intention of going to the bathroom. She just needed an excuse. Maybe someone would come after her, maybne not. She didn't care. She just kept walking.

Gwen

Gwen had sat there and listened to James' and Victoria's conversation. She didn't exactly know why Victoria had left, but she knew she was steamed. She looked over at James, "Well, are you going to go after her, or not?"
James had a confused look on his face. "Why? She looked fine to me."
Gwen groaned, "Men, never seem to get the point!" She tried to calm down, she felt Xyver's hand on top of her shoulder, giving her support. "Go and get her, before she doesn't come back."
"Well, what am I going to say?" James looked desperate.
"I don't know! Just go before she gets any farther." Gwen pushed him to his feet and invaded his mind. Go to her now!
Next thing she knew he was flying out the gym door. She turned and smiled at Xyver, "Mission accomplished."
