I challenge you!

My English teacher last year gave us an assignment to write a 55 word shorty. Basically, no rules, except that it must be a story of only 55 words.

It was so hard. I challenge you guys! I want to see what everyone comes up with.
If I can remember/find mine, I will post it.

James took another sip of the punch and stared at the other sweethearts dancing it up, fast and slow on the floor. Then he glanced her way again, finally working up the nerve he took another drank of punch and walked straight up to her, she was so beautiful. “Wanna dance”?

She smiled kindly. “Certainly”.
